I don't understand, acting IS a career. And if you're good at it, it can last a long time. And if you're not good, thats why God invented reality shows on VH1.

Not to mention with the bank she presumably made on the Pirates trilogy alone, I don't think she has to worry about paying the bills.

I think what she meant to say was, "acting isn't a profession that is going to last forever, unless you have talent, slash, your career is based on something other than looking like Natalie Portman."

To date, I think her career has been more successful than Natalie Portman's…so maybe Natalie Portman's career is based on looking like Keira Knightley? ;)

They both wish they could be Kelly Ripa. She's a tiny ball of fury and has hulk sized biceps. Ignore me. I just had a root canal and am all hopped up on the pain pills. But it reminded me how tiny Kelly is but how weird her biceps are. It's just not right and laughing gas kind of rocks. hoooooo.

You think so Cait? Hmmm, I guess just different definitions of success. Although I should have said "founded upon" and not "based" as I believe her first big role was being a Padme decoy in the first Star Wars prequel. Damn You! Now I am trying to come up with a list of various success markers. Damn you to hell for making me think about this. Nefarious Hag ™!

I really love the use of nefarious. It's a real big turn on. So is Star Wars talk. There, it's out.

I think Knightley has had more success in a shorter period of time - and she's heading towards a second Oscar nomination.

Cait: No way! For what? Everytime I see her I want to scratch my eyes out. Although Portman bit the big one in the prequels. I just really, really, really, really, really love The Professional.

Now this is just my opinion, but I think Portman has done better quality movies (Knightly has been in bigger/higer budgeted movies) and acted better in then than Knightly. I guess that is why I consider her more successful. Also I think Oscar noms are pretty much a crapshoot, so they don't hold that much stock for me.

Juje: when we get married you can walk down the aisle to the cantina music from Star Wars. Do do, do do, do do doooooooo. Da da da da, da da da, daaaa dummmmmmm.

natalie was a real meanie to kiera on the set of phantom menance.

good for kiera. she's got the puking part of school down.

keira is so boring. if she didn't have an accent she wouldn't be acting.

natalie portman is perfection. she is adorable and smart and picks interesting movie roles.

i also find no visual appeal in keira. ick. sour lemon face.

natports, again, is perfection. shaved head? tan? pale? dressed up real fancy? dressed in rags? perfection. always. and she is cute. i have never seen keira be cute or likeable at all. she is always complaining. sour lemons. sour lemons. big under-eye bags. blech blech. boo hoo. i'm skinny. always complaining! learn to giggle or stfu. i'm so over keira.

Lisa #1, she has a movie out now called Atonement and she's fucking good in it, not to mention really pretty. But her performance in this is very quiet and subtle, the Academy isn't smart enough to nominate this kind of acting, Cait.

That being said, I think she should go to university anyway. And oh yeah, Natalie Portman is prettier.

Also I thought they were like good friends in real life? Or at least thats what it says on the Star Wars trivia page on IMDB.

As for Keira's acting, she's not really that great, Natalie completly outshines her. Plus she has this weird way of talking, like something's wrong with her teeth. It's really strange.

As they've gotten older they've started to not look so alike.

She can do me (when she's ready, of course).
