Funny woman Rachel Dratch is finding it difficult to land roles after leaving Saturday Night Live two years ago. Dratch was even fired from 30 Rock, a program helmed by a fellow SNL alum, Tina Fey. Asked what she's been working on at a recent film screening, the luckless actress answered, "Maybe you can tell me … I know you’re supposed to come up with fake stuff you’re doing. But honestly, I’m not doing much." She added, "It’s starting to get old … I’m starting to go crazy. I’m ready for a job." Debbie Downer, is that you?

What? Why was she fired from 30 Rock? Did she and Tina Fey have some sort of falling out? Did I miss something?
Is she too good for "Dancing With the Stars", how about a famous person version of "What Not to Wear"?

and i liked her skits… weird cause when jimmy and tina left they made those episodes so rememberable. well sucks now cause im acutally gonna miss her!
maybe she can be a new member on kimora lee simmons show, and kimora can make her fabulous
Originally the two women on the show were supposed to be Tiny Fey and Rachel Dratch with Dratch playing the Jane Krakowski part. Rachel however is not a cutesy blonde with boobage so the powers that be decided to focus on Jane as the comic counterpat to Tiny Fey. Unfortunately, they forgot that Jane is not funny.
So they kept Rachel around in tiny little cameo parts for a while - I think Tiny tried to work her in as much as possible - but eventually the powers that be said out with Rachel.
Which was a big mistake because now there's only one funny lady, Tina, who is cool, but she needs another female to bounce off of once in a while.
Rachel is cool and I wish she'd do something like a sassy one woman comedy tour - that would be perfect for her.
She might get more work if she did something with those huge saggy knockers falling down her chest. Just a suggestion.
Cooter Brown, the knockers are beautiful. I'd call you a jerk but really, the ill-fitting dress saves you. All she needed was a better fit, the boobs are good.
She's going to get work again, she's very funny. I love Jane in that part, it's hard to picture anyone else so I feel like it was cast well, though I totally think Rachel could've done it. She's funny, she'll be fine. I question all those ladies doing the Vanity Fair shoot with everyone but her. Jerks.

You know, she had a lot to expect considering the huge careers of Nora Dunn and Ellen Cleghorn.
