Naomi Judd wants to give a shout out?
Is it me, or was that comment confusing. Is she saying David's dad is the worst because he's not pushy like a good stage dad would be? Is she giving a shout out to the dad and telling us to leave David alone, or is she telling him to give his son a fucking break? I don't speak country.
Allow me to translate, Huh.
She recognizes "stage parentism" of David's dad. She's saying to the parent to back off.
She feels that David's stage parent dad is a worse stage parent that she was.
This statement was probably motivated by a bit of guilt and projection on her part.
