GIRLS GONE LITIGIOUS "The call girl linked to the downfall of former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer sued the founder of the 'Girls Gone Wild' series on Monday for $10 million, claiming he exploited her image and name to advertise the racy videos. Ashley Alexandra Dupre, 22, contended in the lawsuit that she was only 17 — too young to sign legally binding contracts — and drunk on spring break in 2003 when she agreed to be filmed for 'Girls Gone Wild' in Miami Beach."

You'd think that after the world found out you were literally a whore, you'd want to sort of keep a low profile. I wonder if her parents are still so proud of their little girl?

I don't think these girls that sign waivers and willfully expose their breasts should be able to sue Girls Gone Wild. However, shouldn't the premise for the show, girls raising their tops in PUBLIC, be enough to the get the company shut down for encouraging 'indecent exposure' or 'lewd acts' or some other beaurecratic term?

I have never watched it so does anyone know how they get around that?

The law is, generally, that a contract signed by a minor, unless the contract is for a "necessity," (it can also be ratified after the age of majority in some places, but don't quote me) is unenforcable. A waiver is a contract - it is GGW's responsibility to make sure they aren't minors. But let's be real, they like-a da young looking girls, so they had to expect it. Actually they probably expected that the minors would be to embarassed to sue.

I don't know if there are any "accessory to indecent exposure" laws.

Yeah, because after all that, it's really the Girls Gone Wild part that ruined her "good name".
