While that may be true, he's still a rapist.

Hi there, Roman. I'd like to introduce you to Rupert. He's over there on the couch, lying in the prone position. Might have something to do with the Vicodin I accidentally slipped into his sniffer of warm brandy. Oh, those braids? They're clip-ons. Silly, I know. But don't they sort of make him look like a young girl from behind? Well that and the skirt that is hiked over his clean-shaven bottom. Hee hee. Oopsie. Well excuse me while I run out to the store. As you can see by this half-full bottle of lube that I'm going to leave on the table right next to the sofa (which reclines, by the by), it is time to update my sex drawer. I might be a while, so why don't I pop on this Marvin Gaye CD for you guys? Get yourself acquainted!

Although I just did some research…the murders happened before the alleged rape incident.

I have always hated his movies though. I think Chinatown is such a crock of shit.

Oh well then your comment loses some humor. ;)

Rosemary's Baby is really good. But don't ever read the sequel.

Jeez… It's like he's from the time of the Roman Kingdom.
Polanski's the biggest dick since the Column of Marcus Aurelius.

I am confused, though. Are we prude"ish" or full on prudes?

Americans are indeed prudish. We were colonized by a bunch of Puritans, so yeah, we are prudes. Be that as it may, he's still a rapist. I don't care how liberal you are, ass raping a child that you hopped up on ruffies in a hot tub is not what I would call progressive or enlightened.

Ilnazhad, I hate to be picky, but I think you mean the Roman Imperial period. The Era of the Kingdom, before the Republic, was pretty tame.

Back on topic, he's right. This nation is very uptight about sex. Most American's seem to be simultaneously repulsed by and obsessed with sex. It's very strange. No where in the world will you find people more obsessed with what's going on in other people's bedrooms, yet not do much of anything in their own bedrooms. Lame.

Also on the topic, rape is not cool. He's a very bad man.

Americans are prudish. Americans are completely ridiculous in a lot of ways that deal with sexuality.

However, being prudish is different than the drugging and rape of a child.

This man is fucking delusional. Some states here are actually sentencing people to death for child rape and he's not incredibly fucking grateful to have avoided jail time? Fucking bitch.

Capitol punishment at all, let alone for no murder is shit - I only bring it up because my point is there was a good chance he wouldn't even have spent any time locked up, or just minimal. And in my opinion, for being 43 and drugging and ass raping a fucking kid, he should've spent at least 25 years in prison. And he thinks he did nothing wrong.

I wonder how open-minded Roman would be if someone messed with his kids?
