If that's what he was trying to say, he simply should have said it. He should know by now that he is on thin ice, and regardless of what he "meant", people are paying a lot more attention to what he says and how he says it.

Oh I know that this guy was arrested for actual legitimate reasons, the fact that he's black is really immaterial to me. Don is just trying to stir shit up. He didn't call anyone a name, he is *trying* to look like the good guy. By people calling him out on his remark, he gets to point the finger now. Whatever, he's creepy.
