Some People Are Simple

stephenbaldwin

We don't know how they do it, but they do, and it. Is. Fucking. Astonishing.

The maniacs at Fox News somehow put together an earnest segment in which giggly hack Laura Ingraham talks to ACTOR Stephen Baldwin about just why the heck these loudmouth celebrities think they can go around expressing their opinions. We're pretty good at sensing irony, and there is NONE in either of their voices. Not even when Stephen, who, by the way, is the one not as smart as Alec, not as handsome as Billy and not as rugged as Daniel, says, "Here's what's freaky to me: The media and Hollywood is so convinced that mainstream America cares what it thinks." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God, we hope this guy's not kidding when he says he's leaving if Obama wins.

Clip after the jump.

Not shocking that he said this on Ingraham's show. . . one of her books is titled "Shut Up and Sing." I don't know, I'm of the opinion that based on television appearances by both, John Cusack is better informed and more capable of presenting his points in a thoughtful manner than Glenn Beck. And Cusack is an actor, while Beck is a radio host and pundit. I mean, all evidence seems to point to Daily Show viewers being better informed than O'Reilly Factor viewers, and Jon Stewart makes no claims at being an actual journalist while O'Reilly does.

Oh he's still just pissed off over "loosing" the Patrick Star voice over gig to Bill Fagerbakke. They told him he sounded a little too authentic.

I LOVED Billy Baldwin in the Young Riders.

I still can't place Stephen in my mind's eye. I'm so sorry, I'll get there. Give me a few weeks.

If everyone moved away from this country when stuff happened in this country that they didn't agree with, well,

I would have no one left to drink beer with and talk about how the young people just have NO IDEA, and how things are so SCREWED UP at the moment. And they are all still here.

(I don't think you young people screwed it up. You can only do so much with what you have inherited. I get that. We olds just have to blame it on SOMEONE when we are drunk. And we don't have the Russians to blame it all on anymore.)
