Tori Amos is coming out with a new album. Based on the Bible, the blood running down her thigh and the word "shame" scrawled across her palm, I'm guessing some of the tracks might touch on religion. [PopBytes]

Spears is in 'hab in LA. Who knew she was having any problems? [Jossip]

• Need a delicate way to say "Sorry you're sterile?" Hallmark's got you covered! [Gawker]

Tom Brady's defense now scrambling after being hit with the old Hail Mary of crumbling relationships: "But, I'm pregnant." [NYP]

• Boatloads of expensive luggage was really only necessary when people traveled on boats. [JJ]

• If they get married—which they won't—she should probably take his last name. [ICYDK]

Nicholas Cage is so weird he's cool. [ASL]

Tori Amos kicks ass! Give'm hell girl!
I am so over Britney today.Tom Brady is a tool ( I live in Indianapolis… go Colts) and Gizelle… I really wanna hate her because she's so beautiful, but I won't.
Greeting cards are for pussies. Who really gives a f*ck about luggage? Jude Law is washed up, and Nic Cage… he's a Coppola, of course he's eccentric.

This is (I'm not kidding) from the Journey's line
It seems to be especially for Britney

No one said it would be easy to lose your hair. But knowing you, you'll find a way to turn this situation around and use it as a badge of honor, a sign to the world that your treatments are working.

And when this is all behind you and your hair grows back, you'll be able to say with assurance that every day is a good hair day

I was thinking Tori was going for the 'Carrie' symbolism not that she was a virgin , lol.
Brit broke down when she realized she had not one iota of talent, she's a farce, at least Lindsaye can act and is pretty. Well she's nuts too but at least she has something.

OH IT'S ALL OUT NOW. She shaved it cause ole KFED said he was going to have someone DRUG TEST THAT SHIT. You know - they could tell if she was using when pregnant by doing that. SO THE BITCH SHAVED IT - IN PUBLIC. LIKE FUCK YOU! DAMN CRACKHEAD. Basically admitting she's a crackhead by doing that. But didn't think to take it with her. It's pretty much inadmissible now since it's off her head and I don't think there is hair long enough to test THAT far back. By shaving/entering rehab we know she is a drug addict just not what and how long. She'll act like it was a few months or days. DAMN!

It's just DRIVING ME NUTSO now. I HOPE one of those SLEAZY entertainment shows buys it and drug tests it! I'm just ITCHING to know. Like a crackhead myself. Too bad I'm not independently wealthy.

OK, as a long time Tori Amos fan (13 yrs), I can guarantee you she is not trying to conjure Carrie. Menstruation, period. The church wants us to be ashamed of being woman. Hello - Eve? Women still aren't getting equal treatment in society, not in ways that really matter (like equal pay for equal work). Her father was a Methodist minister, if that tells you anything. She loves her some metaphors, and you can't really be a fan unless you get them. If she hadn't been a musical genious (playing Mozart by ear at the age of 4), she would have been a scholar. My kind of lady - she loves fairies, shoes, feminism, being a mom…and she hates organized religion. She does, however, love Jesus (Mrs. Jesus is a great song - check it out). So, she's a bit of an oxymoron - I don't think many people get her, and I guess those of us who do really respect her for not putting on a mask for the world.

Just found this on Wikiquote (to try and stay a bit on the subject of the week):
"The one thing we need to understand is that if you're going to French kiss another woman, it doesn't mean you're going to be an ingenue at 40. If you're 20, it doesn't mean you're going to get wisdom. You're going to get some cute lipgloss on and a yummy feeling inside, but there's a bit of a devouring going on. When someone French kisses another woman to try and get something, that isn't passion; it's very interesting to me, an intriguing study. If you're going to French kiss somebody, French kiss a woman that can say, 'Okay, honey; okay sister, come with me and I'll show you a tongue like you've never seen before'. If you're going to walk down that road, do it! A tongue does not touch the intelligence inside another person. You know, Madonna's stayed around for 20 years, but Britney is not going to get that, and Madonna isn't going to become 20 years younger. I did not see 'I honour you' in that kiss. But that's me; that's what I saw."

This just because I think it will explain much, if you really care to know where Tori is coming from. She has often been falsely accused of portraying herself as a rape victim. She's portraying herself as a survivor, and advocating for other survivors to seek help.

Right on, tlatzoteotl, I like Tori Amos, also! She is a female empowerer. I appreciate the fact that she encourages women to seek help and treatment after rape–In fact, this image, to me, means that she WAS raped…It is all up to personal interpretation. I say, You GO, TORI!

Ok, so I typed all of that an hour past bedtime. I don't think anyone is trying to say she was never raped, but they have tried to say that she's trying to garner attention from her rape, that she's doing a whole "feel sorry for me" victim act. She was just trying to heal. I know that she doesn't play "Me and a Gun" at concerts anymore (and when she did, goodness, you could have heard a pin drop), which says to me that she's been able to put it all behind her now.

Unfortunately, I too am a statistic. But I consider myself a SURVIVOR, also! It is just going through the process of healing that hurts like HELL :(
