The only possible reason I can see for doing this is to avoid all the media whores hounding them around the house waiting to catch a peek at the kid. Remember when Tom and Katie kept Suri out of the spotlight for months? They said that the baby didn't exist, was an alien, or there was something wrong with her. I'm hoping that she's only doing this to avoid future stalkerazzi.
