I've never really understood all the Gwennie-hate in the blogosphere. She's one of the few sensible female celebs in her age range, not to mention both talented and professional. All the criticism she's taken for her supposed political comments are unfair–not to mention that she's only speaking the truth when asked: America *is* a mess culturally; not that Britain's far behind.
And I still think her mom's one of the unsung wonders of the world.
