As news of her self-destructive behavior becomes less and less rare, Amy Winehouse is slowly but surely becoming a caricature of herself. Her latest stunt included slicing her stomach with a shard of glass during an interview, periodically escaping to the bathroom and returning fussing with her nose and allowing her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, to sit in on the interview and threaten the lives of passersby.
Talking before her recent marriage to husband Blake Fielder-Civil, she ranted about her new found superstardom.
'I'm not in this to be a fucking role model' she insisted.
Fielder-Civil, joined her at the interview in the Toad Hall pub, New York, reportedly threatening a drinker, asking the interviewer: 'Tell the guy who looks like he has leukaemia I'm going to slit his throat.'
According to reports the jazz songstress then cut into her stomach after posing with a shard of mirror for the photo shoot.
She then went to the toilet several times, repeatedly checking her nose with the piece of mirror.
As talented as she is, I'm afraid that what Amy Winehouse doesn't understand is that after a certain point "antics" are only impressive to dipshits and 13-year-olds, and both of those groups have an attention span of about seven minutes. So long after the rest of us have gone, "Fuck her if she wants to kill herself," she's gonna turn to them and they're gonna go, "We're so over you!" Then things start getting lonely. She should call Marilyn Manson and ask him what it's like.

I just don't get the appeal, at all. I think her voice is horrible, but even if I didn't, I'd still just see her as a pathetic attention whore.

Her hair is so fake, her body is all bones, I bet she has fake tits, her make-up is like a rat, her style is just self-mutilating and she is married to a total asshole who doesn't mind her cutting herself. She's disgusting, sorry. Whether she can sing or not is irrelevant. Some people's character sings louder than their voices….
i love her music, love her voice, love her talent. and until i see proof of this incident i will choose to believe that this is her self-marketing of an image of a self-destructive person who refuses to go to rehab. maybe it's just an image, along with the beehive and odd clothes. maybe she's laughing all the way to the bank and will live long enuf to see her great-grandchildren.
but why should people like her be praised and honoured for being so fucked in the head? people love this girl despite the fact that she's so deranged. it almost feeds her whacked out addiction. i don't know if it would help her not to have this fame or not. at any rate, whatever her problem is (anorexic, heroin addict, missing tooth, bulbous hair nest on her head…) i hope she gets some help.

I don't call myself an Amy Winehouse fan, but I love her album "Back to Black". Wasn't that an album from AC/DC?
I love her sound on the album — retro yet modern. However, like all great artists, she's crazy out of her head. Just look at her — missing tooth, facial piercings, as many tattoos as the average sailor, tattoos of naked women, and her self-destructive behavior.
She's probably running on the ragged edge of disaster. Maybe she'll live long enough to make another album. Maybe she'll go T.U. from suicide or drug overdose. I'd be afraid to fall asleep if I were married to her.
I hope we're not still calling people "crazy" because they have tattoos or a missing tooth. The self-destruction is about the only thing that makes her seem a little nuts.

Honestly judging her for her appearence, but yet what about all those rappers out there! believe me there all ugly and have tattoos and whatever. I love her voice her style and its her life and her music so every single noisy person out there just needs to back off and let her heal her wounds and be a great singer!!!!!!!
She's an extremely good singer. Whatever she does with her own fucking life is her business.
Although Amy Winehouse's "Situation" makes me sad and makes me want someone to slap her and shove food down her throat, I give her another 6 monthes as the most if she continues. I hope Blake gets in prison for 15 years. So She can clean up and become the crazy amazing singer everyone knows she is.
I think shes amazing. and being a recovering heroin addict myself I know that she prolly doesnt give a second thought to all the hating ass bullshit everyone spews at her. Let her keep making amazing music and let her live how the fuck she wants to its her life nothing any of her critics say is gonna get her to change until she wants too for herself not anyone else.
