We all love Anderson Cooper. (It would be UnAmerican not to!)

And no one wants to make America's silver fox out to be some sort of hypocrite or anything — he's certainly a good, down to earth journalist, but can we just pause and call bullshit for a second?

From the Elle article: "… catty speculation about his personal life has become a genre in and of itself."

On that, I don't call bullshit. Just hackery. Lazy and/or pretentious hackery from a lousy writer.

Just because he is okay with being famous doesn't mean he's okay with reading weird things about himself on the internet (like this). I will continue to believe he is smart and funny and shy and that birds sing when he steps outside…

stm, bullshit is usually busy streaming out of my husbands mouth trying to convince me I'm wrong. I'd help you if I could…but I'm never wrong, so it's pretty busy all the time, and until someone ELSE wants to fess up to the truth of the matter, I'm afraid it's going to continue in this manner until I die or am senile enough to forget I'm always right.

No. 13 Julia says:

Dear Whitney,
It is with great regret that I must inform you that your request to "pause and call bullshit for a second" has been rejected. While your proposal showed much potential, the Silver Fox Appreciation Committee (SFAC) does not agree with your position that Mr. Cooper is, in any way, a hypocrite. Should you continue this blatantly un-American propaganda, you will be labelled a terrorist, and homeland security will be alerted.

Best,
SFAC
