The week began with reports that bidding on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s baby twin photos was skyrocketing past a $15 million mark; today brings word the final sum could hit $22 million, as the tabloids feed the human trafficking frenzy. (What’s an ultrasound worth?)

For $22 million I'd be poppin' out kids like Jiffy Pop.
Wow, I applaud them for donating the proceeds - even that will net them $7M + in tax savings.
So, when People shells out that money, and then the photos are on the internet, can they only be posted if they are copywritten to People? And if so, how do they get any revenue from that? Seems to me it's obvious the print publications are dying so will they see more than a 22mil return?
Yikes, I read about this at celebrityprayerlist.com the other day too.
How about they take some of that $22Mil and help some of us po' folk pay for gas huh?
Impressive - $11Mil per beautiful baby. As awful as this may sound I don't think it's wrong for a celebrity to get money from magazines for publishing the first pics of their baby - this way the curiosity is somewhat out of the way & safer than the paps chasing them down the street plus you get people like the wonderful Brangelina donating the money to charity. If you look at it that way we all win.
