once you reach the level of "clear" in scientology you are supposed to have gotten rid of such petty things as migraine. An "OT8" (=operating thetan 8 may be translated to english as "an independent, acting soul/individual, level 8") on the other hand is a much higher level. He's talking about OT8s having headaches. This should be impossible because they are far above "Clear".

I hope this isn't the last high-profile defection we hear of.

OT= Operating Thetan. Thetan supposedly means spirit. An OT 8 is a super duper powerful being that can "handle" anything and anybody (or create any reality in new agespeak). They are beyond "clear." They are supposed to be free of all illness and unhappiness. (hahahaha)

An engram is akin to an unconscious psychological picture. Source or all illness and misfortune.

Clear is when you have no more engrams, so you have no more "reactive mind" another word for engram. Clears are happyhappyhappy people who don't get colds and migraines.
