"Nipplegate" Now Just "Nipple"

Four years after Janet Jackson’s infamous Super Bowl “wardrobe malfunction,” a federal appeals court ruled that the Federal Communications Commission “acted arbitrarily and capriciously” in issuing a $550,000 indecency fine to CBS. That's kind of an understatement.

Teh FCC did NOT overreact. It was totally wrong to have that song and those shenanigans during the Superbowl. The MTV awards? Fine, do it there. I think the fine and the attention it got was appropriate and hopefully it will put a rein on that kind of garbage on non-cable television during family hour. Jeeez, all the talk show people tell us that parents monitoring what there kids watch is the bottom line. How are we supposed to do that when all this shit is being poured into our kids' consciousness?
