Our boy Christian Bale will likely get off with a warning after allegedly assaulting his mother and sister in a London hotel last month, as long as he admits guilt when he answers bail in September. Normally we would roll our eyes at another case of celebrity justice, but it truly seems the whole situation was much ado about nothing. Of course, your mileage may vary.

Considering the alleged assault was verbal- I think a slap on the wrist is too much. Man, I'd have been in jail a million times over for yelling at my mom and sister if we had the same laws here.

Doesn't he have to say he's guilty for that to happen? I hate the lor. (That's backwoods southern for law).

Wasn't it just "verbal assault?" Honestly, I think this was only covered in the news because Batman came out. Otherwise, who cares?
