Which famous British vocalist, now happily settled down and living in the States, made a living selling Ecstasy in London nightclubs during his '90s career slump?
Gavin Rosdale (Gwen Stafani's Husband) in the 90's he was in the band "Bush".. they had a few hits..! that is the person who makes the most sense to me! could be wrong though!
Cliff Richard is English, but he still lives in Britain. My money is on David Bowie- the picture eyes, and David Bowies strange eyes….. and he now live in New York with Iman and their daughter
True, but Robbie is also a multi-millionaire. God knows I bought all his damn CDS! Actually the more i think about it, the more Boy George would make sense.
It's not David Bowie. David Bowie is one of the richest men in the UK and Ireland (he is legally a resident of Ireland and also has residences in New York and Switzerland)…and has been for many, many years. In 1997 (yes that's in the 90's) he was reported to be worth over $900 million. I'm sure it didn't come from selling ecstasy in London clubs.
I want to know about Boy and being "happily settled" if Claire's so sure it's him. Last I heard he was doing community service on drug charges, which would make this a pretty anticlimatic news story.
george michael
That's when George Michael really took off ('90s), so it can't be him.
George lives in London now anyway, doesn't he?
I'd say his career took off in the early 90's but slumped midway through, though. So he could qualify.
i thought he jsut moved her like a couple months ago to get away from drugs or something…
Or cops who dare arrest him for asking for a hummer.
it's gotta be robbie williams
Williams lives in the States now?
There goes the neighborhood.
In other news, that picture will be in my nightmares tonight.
Mine too.
Who was considered "wild" before, but is happily settled down now? Implies maybe a wife/family?
thats from a movie right?
No kidding, Courtney

Again, I don't think that one fits exactly because Bush's main popularity was in the 90s and he's been in decline since then.
I agree with evil - the person is supposed to have hit a slump in the 90's, not begun their career then.
My guess would start with people popular in the mid- to late 80s who had a few hits into the 90s but generally flopped once grunge and all that hit.
Except that covers just about everyone from the 80s.
Elton John? ;)
Neil Diamond!!
BAH, BAH, BAH. Good times never seemed so good.
Ive been inclined
To believe they never would
This one's driving me crazy, it seems like it should be fairly easy.
I got it! Cliff Richard! Or is he an Aussie?
BALE!!
I feel so dumb…Of course it's Sir Paul McCartney.
hahaha, neil diamond… ohh i love you people
Boy George.
I would say yes to that one except for the "happily settled down" part.
Hmmmmmmm, such riddle.
Tom Jones
Seal
Terence Trent Darby
Bryan Ferry
Barry Gibb, taling bout, politics, and coool, oool, medallions.

Moreover, that photo creeps me out.
Juju, didn't D'arby change his name to something utterly smacking of a Zappa kid?
Would David Bowie have to make a LIVING selling drugs though? I would hope he had a least a few million socked away.
True, but Robbie is also a multi-millionaire. God knows I bought all his damn CDS! Actually the more i think about it, the more Boy George would make sense.
Yeah, but he can't hide from me. Sign your name across my ass.
Where does Boy live now? When will he ever be Man George? He's more like Grandma George.
Or Ugly Aunt George.
Old gym teacher George.

1997 was in the 90s??
Yes, I laid the sarcasm on a little thick there…and my defence mechanism word taser was set on obliterate.

It's just a, blind in one eye, item.
I conceed defeat. Everyone makes such good point, ah newbies should never play this game they are just wrong lol
hahaha blind in one eye….
"now happily settled" means that the person is married. which suggests Gavin Rossdale indeed.
Maybe they are just domestic partners?
