This Freakin' Guy

Oh goodness. Bono was hired as the newest Op-Ed contributor to The New York Times starting in 2009, despite the fact that Irish gent will be paid zero for his services. Which, technically, is all they are worth, since Bono will inevitably use the columns to preach the same old, same old stuff he usually does: Africa, poverty, blah blah blah.

Speaking of preaching the same old blowsy bullshit:
Couldn't you find SOME way of tying this in to Sarah Palin and what a completely intolerable cunt she is?
You're slipping. Election Day draweth nigh-you've got to demonize Palin like there's no tomorrow!
I have mixed feelings about this guy.
I used to see him as a preachy annoying self-important douche, but he does do a lot of good things.
reminds me of the "Number Two" south park episode. as they put it, (not verbatim) "how can someone do so many good things but still come off as a piece of shit?"
I really just ignored Bono until the whole RED campaign to fight AIDS that was just an abysmal failure that lost a ton of money. Also, I hate his sunglasses.
How can you be like the one uncool Irishman, Bono? Seriously, wtf?
i used to love him, but it's all over now. sanctimonious self-righteous twit.
I've never stopped loving Bono or U2 and probably never will.
As a person representing the field of environmental management, I often equate Bono to Al Gore. I think they both have big hearts, big ideas and are getting a message out. They might not be solving the crisis, but they are making people aware and that is good.
sw, i loved the u2 south park. i still giggle when i think about him answering the phone "hello hellooo!"
