And She's Proving It By Throwing Things Like a Baby!
August 1st, 2007

It’s being reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are divided on the ‘08 presidential election, with Pitt supporting Barack Obama and Angelina backing John Edwards (sowwy, Hiwawwy). So heated is their divide that it has at least once devolved into a shouting match.

An insider close to the Pitt family said, “They got into a huge fight about politics (Brad supports Barack Obama, while Angie’s a John Edwards fan.) Brad ended up calling her immature. He says the next thing he knew, Angie was cursing at him and throwing a glass of wine in his face.” Brad, understandably, was speechless. “He was left standing there with wine dripping down his face onto his clothes, before storming off to wash up and change. He says he was absolutely disgusted by Angelina???s behavior.???

Sorry, Angelina, I know your mighty heart is in the right place, but I’m afraid voting for John Edwards is actually kinda immature.

More of Jolie with the kids under here.

I just have a really hard time believing this. I am, however, always happy to see the Jolie-Pitt kids, even if they’re old pictures.

I know, this one doesn’t pass the smell test. And even if it were true, why do I care? I’m sure the same thing is going to happen at my house during the campaign season.

I’d love to see a libertarian or green party candidate given equal media attention. If that happens, I might just register to vote again.

By the way, isn’t Brad kind of a dick for answering an argument with “You’re so immature”?

I voted Libertarian in the 2000 election and my dad threatened to disown me.

Regardless…I call BS on this story.

I would like to throw my hat in the ring for the job of, the decider.

If I were famous I’d have no friends and get rid of my entire family. That way I’d have no “insiders”.

I’d like to just throw my hat into the ring so I can be in the ring with Brad and Angelina.

Can we add mud?

Can we feed the whip cream and jello to Angie while I run off to “borrow” Brad Pitt?

Well that not only makes her immature, but also stupid for wasting a glass of wine like that. You know that wasn’t Boone’s Farm, or even Kendall-Jackson…probably more like vintage Beychevelle.

I’m classy like that too. I will not purchase a box of wine younger than 2005.

Believing that politics isn’t totally rigged, and that it still matters who you vote for, is totally immature. I’ll throw wine in all y’all’s faces.

Bah! Allow us our youthful indulgences, Gorilla! At 28, I still like to believe that my vote carries some meaning. I mean, here in Louisiana it doesn’t, because for every vote I cast, 10 dead people vote, but…

how did bush win illegally? he won legally. poeple think the electorial college is illegal..
BUT that doesnt make it illegal. Complain all you want, this is not a democracy, its a republic (albiet a democratic one, but a republic none-the-less). Check out Madison’s paper #10 for moreinformation about this (he would know, he did have a huge hand in writing the constitution).

there is nothing illegal in how that asshole won, sadly. i wish there were. Some may claim it unfair, I ultimately disagree, but unfair is avalid claim.

April you always bring it home, girl. I am always saying this to my dad who is constantly infuriated by how things work. Our country is a representative republic, not a democracy.

The only way Edwards or Obama can win is if they’re on the same ticket.

Posted: Aug 2, 2007 at 4:55 pm
No. 27 Cait says:

Agreed, Kait. While Obama is charismatic and what not, he’s only been in the Senate for a couple of years. During that time, all I’ve seen him do is make speeches and stump for a presidential run. Until he establishes more of a political record, I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable voting for him. I want to know he’s capable of MORE than just giving a great speech and threatening to send troops to Pakistan.

Edwards is interesting, but gives the impression of being plastic. His wife is really his biggest asset.

Clinton terrifies me. She’s just scary as hell. And douchecritical.
