Stop looking at the world's most famous couple

Brad Pitt’s loudmouthed attorneys at Lavely & Singer are, preemptively, trying to clamp down on a series of photos that “were surreptitiously taken of Mr. Pitt and his family as they engaged in familial activities on private property, namely, in the privacy of the estate in which they are presently residing in France and where they had a reasonable expectation of privacy.” Not content with issuing a cease and desist letter after the pictures’ publication, L&S want to make sure these photos never make it into the public eye. (Too late, as you’ll see.)

Supposedly, the publication of these photos — showing Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie with the kids — infringe not just on Pitt’s privacy rights in the State of California, but also in France!

Except, according to one understanding of the law, this is wrong. Oh, and also? In Touch already published the pics.

I like these two a lot. They do a lot of good with the money and time they give to charity. There is a reason they left America. I don't think it's unreasonable for them to want time to themselves. Just because we go see their movies doesn't give us the right follow their every move. They aren't like Paris Hilton who calls the press to follow her every move. Give them some time with their family.

When it's obvious that you want your private life to remain private, it really makes me upset that paps violate that sort of thing. If they are behind a fence or on private property, there should be some sort of harassment or trespassing charge to press on the paps.

Oh please, Brad. Get over yourself. YOu never have a problem with photo of you kids in every magazine on the stand. I guess it's okay as long as they pay you. The real reason he is pissed is because the photos show him driving a golf cart with 2-year old Shiloh on his lap behind the wheel. Asshat

I do support one assertion of Lori's - that "asshat" is always the right choice.

when i get married i'm going to write my own vows and it will be like, "you are my true asshat. i promise to stay by your asshat, for better or worse, for asshat or poorer. baby i knew you were my asshat the moment i saw you." then we will light our asshat candle while the organ hums Bach's Asshat in D.

    i just can't get enough.

The asshats are the paparazzi fucks who surround their home with telephoto lenses & stalk the family at every move. Save your venom for them.

I like the Jolie-Pitt crew & love reading about them & looking at pics of 'em, but not at the expense of their privacy. They just had twins for God's sake. Leave 'em alone!

Yea, as Bodhi sez, leave them alone! Give them their privacy! ( unless you pay them millions for the privledge ) cough, cough. As Fugly as Bradley PittY is becoming with his senior years, (45 in Dec), he should be courting the paps just to keep his face in public…..ok, now all the loonies can attack me….lol. Such idiots

They chose France probably because of all the post-Princess Di death anti-paparazzi laws. It would be silly for them not to take advantage of it and attack the photographers while they can.

Ah yes… I remember the first time I heard asshat. How we chortled!
But it was here only recently that I was enlightened to the seasons latest fashion: the asshat with flaps.

…and I wept, for truly it was a beautifl thing.
