Marlon Brando's grandson, Tuki, is doing a Bruce Weber photo spread in the new L'Uomo Vogue. Check out the 16-year-old's checkered past:

Tuki is the offspring of the ongoing tragedy years that plagued the Brando spawn. His mother Cheyenne was the gorgeous, schizophrenic offspring of Tarita Teriipia and Marlon (who met during the filming of Mutiny on the Bounty). During a downward spiral that ended in her own suicide she falsely accused Tuki’s father of abuse - who was then shot and killed by his uncle – Christian Brando.

His uncle killed his father, his mother killed herself and then his grandfather cut him completely out of the will. Awful. I'm not sure why he's keeping the last name Brando, considering that that family made his life miserable, but I really hope things work out for him. If he's avoided frown lines after all that shit, I imagine he's got a pretty decent outlook on things.

It's pretty obvious that this kid's a survivor–best of luck to him

Well I have to say, "Good luck to him." Yeah, he deserves a break, poor kid! He's handsome though, and if he's a "Brando," even if he was a shunned one…he'll be fine in LA.

Totally thought these were pictures of Johnny Depp at first. Perhaps the modeling world is not the most stable of environments for this boy to be working in…

Not sure why he'd keep the name? That's his meal ticket. All he needs is that name and that face, and Hollywood's knocking at his door. At 16, I hope he knows well enough not to let it ruin him.

Not loving the hair, but otherwise that is one fine looking young man. I remember all that drama with the mother and brother but didn't know Brando cut him out of the will. Maybe I'm stupid but does that mean he had nothing to do with the kid while he was living? Is the brother still in prison?

In his day Brando was the kind of hotness that made me drool. Maybe the kid here inherited that from grandpa.

No one really knows what went on with Marlon in the last few months of his life. There was an excellent article about the debacle after his death in Playboy a year or two ago. I believe the author's theory was that the nurse and one of Marlon's sons conspired to have him sign a new will once he was basically too old and medicated to know what he was doing. He conducted an extremely thorough investigation, as I recall.

You can't break away from your genetics. Trust me. Every single member of my step dad's family is bi polar. I was so happy when my mom told me when I was 10 that he wasn't my real father. So fucking happy. 1# Best day of my life ever!

Anyway, this kid is doomed to have some kind of hang ups. Maybe he'll push through them, be strong, and manage to be legendary, even though troubled, like his grand father. I love Marlon Brando.

what do you mean "keeping" the last name Brando? If his mother was the one with that name, then his name should be the same as his fathers. The reason he is using his maternal family's name is to get more attention.

He is cute, i agree about the hair though. As for him "keeping" the Brando name, his mother and father were never married, therfore the mother gave him her last name. That is why he is a Brando, always has been always will be, cause his dad isn't alive to "claim" him

He is one handsome young man. If he makes it, then there will be hope for Danni-lynn, Anna Nicole's baby girl.
