Christian Bale has signed on to act in a trilogy of upcoming Terminator sequels, beginning with the in-production Terminator Salvation.
Bale will be handsoming up the part of John Connor, a role originated by an angsty Edward Furlong and then sort of ruined by Nick Stahl.
Josh Brolin is rumored to be playing Bale's mortal enemy, the Terminator, in the trilogy.
Think they'll kiss each other?

Just to mention about Nick Stahl - I don't hate him as an actor but I feel like he is constantly cast wrong. In terminator yes but a bigger example is Bully. It's hard to imagine him being tough and intimidating. I see him as the 'nice guy' or the good-hearted jock. Christian Bale though, yay! Although I haven't been interested in terminator movies since the second one was in theaters.
I spent most of the third Terminator moving looking at Nick Stahl and thinking, 'he's mankind's last hope? We are sooo boned.' Nick didn't look like he could fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
Christian Bale will make a good John Connor. He's a great actor and he has the screen presence to back up the character.

I loves me some Josh Brolin! He is sooooo hot in a dirty sort of way (the best way). I guess I'm the only woman on Earth who thought he was hot in American Gangster as Detective Trupo….
I'm definitely Bale's #1 stalker but I'm not so sure about this career move…nothing can top T1 and T2, the T3 was simply awful.
I'm not thrilled with it either, Be A. It kinda seems like recently Bale's going for status over substance.
Not that I wouldn't do his substance.
