I did the same last year, and I have to say she's right. Of course it's not an absolute truth, but in many cases it is true.

It's the same thing for long hair vs. short pixieish hair. I am a brunette and the type of men I attract with short hair are always a better breed than the one's who like me in long hair. But I have grown bored of short hair after 9 years so I just have to keep and eye out for the schmucks more than with the previous cut.

The dark brown was really too harsh for her complextion. If she went with a light sandy brown it would have looked better. She doesn't really have the skin to go brunette.

She's a stoner, I admire that.

I thought the really dark hair looked cool with her eyes, but the only photos I remember were from photos shoots, so I never got to see what she actually looked like.
