From the very first notes of Mariah Carey's new single, "Migrate," we recognized it as a cheap imitation. But do you know from where her electronic operatics were snatched?

Clearly, "Migrate" is an attempt to recreate the sound of the star-crossed Diva Plavalaguna from The Fifth Element! If you've not seen the movie, skip to 4:01 to hear what we mean.

Big fucking surprise. Most of today's pop music is flagrantly ripped off from earlier musicians who had actual talent and created their own stuff. There hasn't been an original work of art in music since "Don't Worry - Be Happy".

    Cord,

If you're going to be grammatically formal (and correct) enough to keep that preposition so far from the end of the sentence, just be a total grammar show-off: Go ahead and use "whence". "from whence" = much better than "from where" mid-sentence.
