CNN anchor Anderson Cooper told Gossip Girl Blake Lively she “smells good” while co-hosting Regis & Kelly today. He sort of looked like he wanted to touch her hair, but then managed to restrain himself to have some girl talk about shoes, diamonds, Willy Wonka and other such things.

When Miley Cyrus was chosen to host the Teen Choice Awards, which was filmed last night and will air tonight, we’re unsure whether or not the producers expected her to hog the spotlight as much as she obviously did. Judging from the pictures, she treated the entire awards show like one of her infamous YouTube videos, including her BFF Mandy in most of her bits and ruining a perfectly good LL Cool J performance.
In other news, Dwight graced the show with his presence, Mariah continued to use a glitter microphone, Arcuhleta’s dad still won’t go away — and when did Chace Crawford become so good-looking?

Vitaminwater got in on the MLB All-Star Week parties last night and felt the best way to promote the brand was by inviting the classiest of celebrities, which included Aubrey O’Day and the Naked Cowboy. The event also attracted some leftover guests from the Batman premiere who just wanted to be photographed. If that’s not getting more people to drink the beverage, we don’t know what will.

Last night a dreary and overcast New York City was treated to the premiere of The Dark Knight, which featured a black carpet. The stars of the movie and all the D-listers in attendance followed suit by dressing in the somber hue, except for a select few (Regis, we’re looking at you).

Ann Shoket is not on the good side of Gossip Girl Blake Lively. The blonde starlet — tragically seen in the sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants — pops up on Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan this month, but her cover role on Shoket’s Seventeen has her pissed. Even her rep says she’s not happy about it!
Except, well, this isn’t the worst cover on which we’ve ever seen Lively. In fact, we have three candidates that are at least equally terrible.

Scarlett Johansson wasted no time in debuting her engagement ring from fiancé Ryan Reynolds at last night’s Costume Institute Gala at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Pretty much every celebrity you can imagine was in attendance (except for Reynolds), and 95 percent of the wardrobe choices made our heart cry.

What’s up with the inappropriate Gossip Girl promotion? Between the steamy OMFG sex scene ads and this stripped-down cover of the latest issue of New York magazine, we have a hard time believing any parents will be happy letting their school-age children watch the show tonight when it comes back from hiatus.
It’s “candid” photographs like the one above that lead us to believe these girls aren’t just acting like melodramatic, overdressed rich kids.
