Prince, with his frilly silk shirts and high heel everything, has long been the victim of rumors about his sexuality, and his libido-infused party jams have helped acquire the Minnesota-born musician a devoted gay fan base. So you can imagine our surprise upon learning that the Purple One, who has for several years been an outspoken Jehovah's Witness, went on a homophobic rant during a recent interview with the New Yorker, saying that, in the past, God came down and wiped out homosexual activity.

USA! USA! USA!

Poor, sad, one-track minded Sally Kern.

The Oklahoma City politico simply can't think past the gays and their allegedly immoral ways. Debating opponent Ron Marlett last week, Kern, who caught national flack this year for launching a rhetorical jihad against the gays, cemented her political standing in a firmly homophobic platform.

Repeating her assertion that same-sex lovers are a "moral decay that's destroying our nation from within," Kern also made the outlandish claim that the gays are the greatest threat facing the US of A:

Bringing homophobia to the mainstream, the Advertising Council and the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network will today launch a campaign against "That's so gay."

It's the first time the council has used its public service announcements to help out the homos.

Ah, CBS. We were expecting for Big Brother to not air preacher's son Ollie's homophobic rants that were captured on the live feeds — but during last night's episode, the show completely fabricated the entire scene. As you may recall, Ollie lashed out at fellow contestant Memphis during a heated argument in the backyard, and as Ollie walked away he told Memphis to "suck my dick, little faggot." Memphis replied, "What did you just call me?" and followed him inside as Ollie repeated himself multiple times. But according to last night's episode, Ollie muttered "red-headed cabbage patch kid" instead of his original rant. Uh, OK? Would it have killed CBS to either a) completely edit out that segment or b) bleep out the offensive words? Why the golden child edit? (Scene in question is at 0:50, compared to the real fight here.)

Jesus Would Be Proud

Yes, I'm still the only person watching Big Brother. I can't help it, I'm addicted — mainly because the producers have perfected the art of casting people on the verge of insanity who come across as perfectly normal during the regular broadcast three times a week. On the live feeds, however, is where the real crazies come out, which brings us to Ollie, the preacher's son. CBS cast him as the straight-laced religious guy, as you can tell from his bio: "As the son of a preacher, Ollie grew up in a strict Pentecostal family where, in his father's church, faith healing and speaking in tongues were practiced. … To this day, Ollie does not drink, smoke or curse; staying true to the values he was raised with as a child."

Interesting, then, that he is the one in the house who constantly spouts off hateful and homophobic remarks. Last night he announced that Memphis, one of his enemies in the game, is "an undercover fag" — to which Jerry, the 75-year-old ex-Marine, warned him, "You gotta stay away from those little dirty old nasties." (Don't even get me started on Jerry.) To top it all off, Ollie told Memphis to "suck my dick, little faggot." You can catch that clip after the jump (around the 7:40 mark).

Shia LaBeouf, the young arriviste who talks like a street tough but looks like a Hebrew camp counselor, says he is "embarrassed" by a video that has recently surfaced showing him calling some dude a "faggot" and asking to be slapped.

Of course, he didn't actually say he was embarrassed, but his publicist did, and those people are pretty much the Jiminy Crickets of Hollywood.

chriscicconefinger

Next month, Chris Ciccone, the charming gent at left and the younger sibling of former American Madonna, will be releasing a "graphic and devastating" tell-all about his astronomically more accomplished sister. What a dick! But rumors say Madge started it by ditching the gay Ciccone for Guy Ritchie, who, according to Rupert Everett, is "uncomfortable around queens." (Apparently not the "Queen of Pop" kind of queens.)

About what Christopher's book could reveal, one worried Madonna confidante said: "He was there through the crazy years and has many stories to tell, I'm sure. He's seen it all. Oh, my."

If we find out Madonna engaged in premarital sex and recreational drug use, she's dead to us.

Clay Aiken, on why he plans to remain trapped in the closet:

People don't want to have [my sexuality] pushed, people who are living in Omaha or in Charlotte or wherever. They don't want stuff like that pushed in their face. I don't think that's necessary and that's also not what I'm here for.

Weezing the Mollygood

Remember that Pauly Shore racism thing from a couple weeks ago? According to a new video, that was just a publicity stunt for some shitty DVD that, apparently like Shore himself, is not at all racist. In fact, black comedian Katt Williams says Pauly is "funnier than any nigger he knows," which is racist, no matter what anyone tells you about how they can say it.

Fear not, hatemongers. The DVD the racism bunco was promoting is not completely void of bigotry. In one scene in which Shore is depicted as hardy Fox news correspondent Greta Van Susteren, he growls, "I'm a dirty, dirty dyke." Um, hilarious?

But who cares about all that: Pauly fucking Shore reads Mollygood! Well, maybe not reads, but at least he cites us when showing all the blogs he "got." Also fantastic: he calls us a "hip-hop site"! Stereohyped is shown, too. Yay!

Pauly, if you're reading this, build a time machine, go back to the Encino Man days and then never stop being Stoney the Weasel. Everyone will be happier.

Click through for the video.

Haters

On her show yesterday outed lesbian Ellen DeGeneres telephoned Sally Kern. Besides being the wife of a Baptist minister, Kern is also an Oklahoma legislator who last Friday told a group of supporters that "the homosexual agenda is just destroying this nation" and that gays pose a bigger threat to America than terrorists. Kern didn't answer Ellen's call, and her voice mailbox was full at the time, but that doesn't mean YOU can't give it a go: (405) 557-7348.

Overtly scary Britney Spears fan Chris Crocker claims the people at YouTube are trying to shut him down. He says that a video he posted to the site in which he complains about the dimly lit Internet and its homophobic citizenry has prompted YouTube deciders to take unfair action against his oh-so-popular clips. "YouTube doesn't support me!" he says defiantly before issuing a bold call to action: "I'm asking all of you, please, in the name of freedom, subscribe to my YouTube channel." In the name of freedom, people.

What better holiday than Christmas to exclude people based on their sexuality?

Joe Simpson is reportedly forbidding Pete Wentz from attending the Simpson family holiday festivities with oft-sutured girlfriend Ashlee. Sources say Joe became upset with Wentz after reading an article in which Wentz confessed to once kissing a boy! (How camp!)

"Joe was skeptical about the relationship from the start," said an insider, "…but with the news of his possible bisexuality, Joe blew his top." ("…blew his top"? Again: camp!)

With all the reasons one could muster to hate Pete Wentz, why go after his bisexual proclivities and look like a stupid zealot?
