Young Love

mileynickjonas.jpg

Miley Cyrus has taken a break from leaking scandalous photos to talk to Seventeen magazine about her former secret relationship with Nick Jonas. Keep in mind the two are 15 years old as you listen to Miley rehash the greatest romance of our time:

We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met. He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, 'I think you're beautiful and I really like you.' And I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.' Nick and I loved each other. We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7.

When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights — and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now — I don't want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I've got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.

Nick is now rumored to be dating Miley's YouTube rival and fellow Disney star Selena Gomez, but Miss Cyrus doesn't mind: "I like being the girl nobody can have. No one can touch me, no one's mine. I'm myself. I think it's sexy to do your own thing." Seeing as how her views on relationships have rapidly matured, you can also expect her trip to rehab earlier than normal.

Battle Of The D-Listers

Now that the dust has settled from the bizarre Nikki Blonsky-Bianca Golden airport brawl, more details are being made available — including, of course, a YouTube video of the aftermath. Bianca is seen in the video wearing a green top, and Nikki's mother apparently comes over to speak to the videographer toward the end of the clip. We're still totally confused about the entire thing, but we've decided we're on Team Blonsky because Bianca was simply insufferable on the ninth cycle of America's Next Top Model. That's fair, right?

After the jump: Proof that Bianca is an obnoxious instigator.

I'm in a giving mood today, so instead of the usual reminder that the world is going to hell, I'll leave you all with this sweet video of a lion and his human "parents." Feel free to cry — I did.

In Which Case, We're Screwed

The greatest Internet-related threat to our children is not sexual predators — it's YouTube. There's just so many things wrong with this clip, which features an 11-year-old belting out Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body," that we don't even know where to begin. The kid's also got an official MySpace page, which confirms our suspicions that the parents either aren't paying any attention to him at all or they're banking on him to become the family cash cow.

Either way, it's disturbing.

'A Voice Of This Generation'

Today is a sad day for America in that Chris Crocker is deleting his YouTube account but will remain on the Internet on his own new Web site. But before leaving, he has some choice words for YouTube, complete with finger snaps and head wiggles. He says his new Web site is way better because "I'm going to be able to finally let my tranny-ass hair down." Amen, sister. YouTube replied, "Good riddance."

But Not Really

mileyyoutube.jpg

Disney brat Miley Cyrus was asked about her latest controversy involving YouTube and the most childish behavior we've seen from her thus far. After publicly making fun of fellow network stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, Miley backtracked:

I mean, if we offended them we're super sorry. … They were being funny, and you know that's our thing is to be funny. So they were being funny on their show and everyone, you know, Elvis says imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so we were, like, imitating them, you know, like, being funny.

You say imitating, we say mocking. Tomato, tomahto.

RIP Randy Pausch

Carnegie Mellon professor Randy Pausch, who became famous for his "Last Lecture" in which he spoke as if he were giving his final lecture before dying, passed away today of complications from pancreatic cancer. He was 47. Above is the video footage of the famous lecture, and although it runs over an hour long it's worth every minute. Randy wrote that he knew was he was doing that day: "Under the ruse of giving an academic lecture, I was trying to put myself in a bottle that would one day wash up on the beach for my children." We picked out three of our favorite nuggets of wisdom, but he says so much more that is worth a listen.

• "The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out; the brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. The brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough. They are there to stop the other people."

• "This advice is good for the ladies: When it comes to men that are romantically interested in you, it's really simple. Just don't listen to anything they have to say; pay attention to what they do."

• "It's not about how to achieve your dreams, it's all about leading your life. If you lead your life in a right way, karma will take care of itself. And dreams will come to you."

This Makes Our Head Hurt

Thank goodness YouTube and Facebook weren't around when we were in high school, because the petty antics seem to have reached an all-time high for today's youth, and it's all in front of the Internet. The biggest YouTube feud of the moment is between two Disney stars: Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez (who is currently dating Miley's ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers — you keeping up?). Selena and her BFF, fellow Disney star Demi Lovato, posted a YouTube video that wasn't up to Miley's liking, so she mocked it with her own. It's childish and unnecessary, but so is high school drama. Watch the clip above and feel your brain cells die rapidly.

Run Diddy Run

Diddy takes to YouTube to announce his discovery that he has 10 fingers and 10 toes. [DListed]

• Rumor has it someone secretly filmed Madonna and A-Rod having sex. Too bad that person won't be able to enjoy all that money he's going to receive from behind bars. [INO]

• The paparazzi are still chasing around Ashley Dupre for reasons unknown. [HT]

• Why Drew Barrymore and Justin Long split: "Justin gently suggested to Drew that they both slow down on the drinking, and she didn’t take it well. Drew believes she has control over her drinking." We've heard that one before. [Yeeeah]

• Pictures of Brad and Angelina cuddling on a hospital roof — except they're so blurry it could be some random hobos off the street, for all we know. [PS]

Lindsay Lohan's new line of leggings is already sold out? Really? Really? [ICYDK]

THE INTERNET KNOWS YOUR SECRETS "Dismissing privacy concerns, a federal judge overseeing a $1 billion copyright-infringement lawsuit against YouTube has ordered the popular online video-sharing service to disclose who watches which video clips and when. U.S. District Judge Louis L. Stanton authorized full access to the YouTube logs after Viacom Inc. and other copyright holders argued that they needed the data to show whether their copyright-protected videos are more heavily watched than amateur clips. The data would not be publicly released but disclosed only to the plaintiffs, and it would include less specific identifiers than a user's real name or e-mail address."

Except Not Really

jsimpsonpackedhouse.jpg

Jessica Simpson's venture into the world of country music has been successful thus far — if you believe the things you read in Us Weekly or hear on the radio. So just how successful is she? Well, just look at this "packed house" (yes, the interviewers actually called it that) of fans who came to see Jess in person. It's amazing that no one was injured during the riot.

Video of the craziness, complete with Jess's annoying baby voice and charming stories, after the jump.

We gathered from previews that You Don't Mess with the Zohan will likely be one of the worst movies of the summer, but now we are completely sure. This three-minute clip from the film features a cameo by Mariah Carey, and when she is one of the most entertaining things on the screen, you know you have a problem.

We Want Him To Die

Stop the presses! Diddy has not changed his name back to Puff Daddy. It was all simply a rumor — except, you know, one of those rumors he started himself. But anyway, on to the main point of this YouTube video: Diddy wants everyone to know how awesome he is. Oh, and vote or die.

Thanks For The Nightmares

Pete Doherty just posted a new video to his YouTube account, and it is a complete and utter nightmare, to put it mildly. Amy Winehouse is still around, and the two have decided to nurture some tiny baby mice. Oh, and Pete's poor kittens are still miraculously alive. Hopefully PETA will stop putting whores in cages and actually do something worthwhile, like taking these innocent little animals away from the two worst pet owners on the planet.

Clears and OT Levels and Xenu, Oh My!

tomkat

Actor and former Scientologist Jason Beghe is the star of a new YouTube video that features him speaking out against his previous religion. We don't have our handy Scientology lingo handbook nearby, so it's a bit difficult to understand what he's talking about; however, it's fairly obvious that the guy is going to need about 100 new bodyguards to prevent a mysterious "suicide."

Click through for the video (some language NSFW).

'South Park' Takes On YouTube

Chris Crocker has developed quite an ego these days. The lone Britney fan reportedly posted a MySpace bulletin lashing out at Oh No They Didn't's lack of Crocker coverage, calling it discrimination: "I guess being legitimate doesn't count for much on gossip blogs," he says, pointing out that being legitimate means he appeared in cartoon form on the latest episode of South Park.

Still Too Much To Handle

American Idol has admittedly been a bit boring lately without Danny Noriega, the finger-snapping, head-shaking teenager from the Top 24. Fortunately, Danny is not deserting YouTube, the stage where he wished us all a happy Christmas — oh, and by the way, he hopes Santa rapes your mother. Here is his latest video, where he announces his return to YouTube (we weren't aware he ever left) right before his Tourette's takes over.
