I was sitting around thinking about how glad I am that Fashion Week is completely meaningless, because otherwise I might feel like I was missing out on things by not reading about it, and then "BAM!," outta nowhere I got totally excited by a dress and I was stuck feeling pretentious and lame.

This is all new stuff from a guy named Benjamin Cho and, unlike the overpriced, recycled, bedazzled nonsense traditionally jammed into your psyche at fashion shows, this stuff looks like it might actually be on the cutting edge.

You're probably going, "Seriously? Mannequin hands propped to look like they're still knitting the shirt you're wearing? That's cool?" Yes, man, that's cool. This stuff is playful to the point of ridiculousness, which is what fashion should be about. It's the wisdom of the slap bracelet and Hypercolor. Y'know?

I bet the Olsen twins already have their orders in for mannequin hand earmuffs and sunglasses. Disembodiment is the new black.

Dude that's fucking creepy. Can you imagine prancing around in a party dress with lifeless hands resting on your shoulders? Ew.

Cord do you have a MySpace?

I think that question is the new "whatsyourmajor?"

I get what you're saying, I really do, but that dress thing is just so creepy. That dress was likely the invention of some frat boy who if he tried to grab a girls boob would just say, "no, that wasn't my hand, that was your dress...now drink this"

Considering all the soldiers returning from the middle east with 1.25 hands or less, isn't this a little boastful?
