Most. Awkward. Interview. Ever.

Lord knows how Nicky Hilton finagled her way onto Letterman, but it sure was uncomfortable while she was there. In what I assume were possibly the longest 9 minutes of his life, Dave tried to get an ounce of personality or humor out of Nicky, to no avail. Girl couldn't even execute the story I'm sure they prearranged to tell about borrowing a necklace from her mother. So, so bad.

Damn, I've never heard that many "yes/no" answers in an interview before. His 3 second conversation w/ Paul at the end of the clip was more interesting than her whole interview.

Poor Dave--this interview must have felt like pulling teeth--YES/NO! ETC. However, I do give this girl credit--she is the ANTI-Paris...She is clever enough to get into the HOTEL business!

While bad, this still wasn't as painful as watching Janet Jackson on Letterman after the nipple incident. It felt like I lost 20 years of my life for nothing.

OMG this must be one of the worst interviews I've ever seen. I've seen a 7 year-old (Abigail Breslin promoting Little Miss Sunshine) give a better interview.

do you feel like this is the most public job interview ever? It has that level of ackward. I don't blame Dave, he is trying to elicit answers and she is too lame. She got bored with making purses after 5 years. Join the real world hun. We get stuck doing the same shit for the rest of our lives.

Come on guys, the interview was definately not great but it wasn't all that bad. She's just 23 and I would be nervous as hell sitting on that couch talking to Dave Letterman too! Cut Nikki some slack! She is a good girl compared to her sister. She does not go out of her way to embarass her family name. Be nice!

Yeah... Don't you dare use her age to excuse her ineptitude. If you are a woman in the entertainment industry, 23 is way over the hill.

Keira Knightley just turned 21 in September for god-sakes. And she's been doing this for years.

I really dont know much about her, but I know a bit about paris. This girl may not be much of an interview, but as a person, she seems to be light years ahead of her sister.

Nicky was just very defensive and protective of Paris. Obviously she's a very good sister that is upset with all the craziness surrounding her sister.
