Here's ER alumnus, Noah Wyle, sitting courtside at a Laker's game with his son. I don't know where the hell this guy's career went after Dr. Carter fled to Africa, but it looks like he's making good use of his free time. Seriously, this should be commended. Not a nanny in sight.

Sure he's a good dad, but what the hell's with the hat? Didn't know "mountain farmer" was in.

He left ER voluntarily to devote more time to being a dad. His career is not "bad," it's exactly what he wants right now.

Too bad he's a Laker fan, though. I expected more of Noah Wyle.

Why is it that various publications and bloggers always say that celebrities should be "commended" when they actually take care of their own children themselves? Is it because it is not the norm in Hollywood? Do people applaud celebrities for not hiring help because most celebrities do? There are plenty of non-celebrity parents who work and care for their own children on their own, without the help of tons of money and accomodating schedules and workplaces.

But speaking of Noah Wyle, wow, his son looks exactly like him. Cute.

He's doing TV, he's doing theatre and he's going to direct an indipendent movie. And he's enjoying his kids a lot. I don't know if it's a good career but surely it seems a good life.
Thanks for pics!

oops! i thought he was being praised because he was a single parent or something. don't tell me we're lavishing praise on a regular dad taking his kid to the ballgame?

I do agree that it's nothing more than a dad at a game with his kid, which shouldn't be "commended" anymore than regular parenting.

I'm fairly sure that while filming ER, he didn't have time for things like this and that's why he left, hence "devoting more time to being a dad." And I agree that "being a dad" just in general involves stuff like this, it's not above and beyond the call of duty or anything. My husband regularly does it with three kids, not a nanny in sight.

And I'm very talkative in type today, apparently.

I loved him on ER. I do believe his latest works have been called "The Librarian" on like TNT or something - like the Da Vinci Code meets National Treasure on TV. I laughed everytime I saw the commercial.

What is it about celebrities liking their sons' hair long? Kate Hudson's son has long hair and now I see Noah's kid has long hair. Long hair on boys is not cute in any way, just weird looking! I know Noah and his wife can well afford a haircut for their son, so what is it? Laziness?

I think Noah's daughter Auden is cuter.

I think Owen's hair does look cute, not weird. It's not that long (it's long at the back, but not at the front), does look like a haircut and at least it doesn't make him look like a girl like Kate's son.
