In an effort to make a life of what can only be described as "explicit leisure" that much more leisurely, Victoria Beckham is joining the blogging ranks. She's eager to shake callousless hands with those of us who work in front of the television and fry our eyes with the glow of CNN.com. Simply login to www.dvbstyle.com("dvb" being David and Victoria Beckham), and you, too, may take a glimpse into the world of the lazy:

For the past few months, the former Posh Spice has been penning small missives to fans on her Web site, www.dvbstyle.com. In her latest post, titled "Greetings from L.A.," she gushes about moving to Los Angeles later this year, where her soccer star husband David will play for the L.A. Galaxy.

"I've been so touched by the support from all the people we've met," she writes. "People in the street have been calling out things like 'Welcome home, we're so excited you're here.' That has been fantastic, and one of the best things about this trip."

Naturally, Beckham, 32 ??? who designs jeans, handbags and eyewear and makes regular trips to Paris ??? also weighs in on the L.A. style.

"As for the clothes ??? wow ??? there are some gorgeous dresses being worn by Hollywood's finest," she writes. On the night of the Golden Globes, she adds, "I wore a Cavalli a-line shift dress. It had a detailed neckline and little pockets in the most gorgeous plum colour with beautiful shoes covered in shimmering crystals by Le Silla. It was FABULOUS!"

On her blog, Victoria also doles out helpful hints on how one can quickly recharge one's robot batteries while on vacation, how to oil one's joints to prevent too-mechanical movement and how long a robot needs to put their hands in the oven to warm them to the point where handshakes will feel human (hint: it's longer than you think).

PS I've attempted to check the website numerous times, and I've yet to be able to log on. Sorry. You're probably not missing much.

It's a good plan Kevin. That is what we in the UK did with the over-the-hill mono brain celled footballer and his fugly plastic pointless skeleton ...and lo and behold ...they went away.

Their move makes it a USA/UK tie. You get the Borehams to add to Robbie whats the point Williams and the other haggard ex Spicers and we got Madge.

On the other hand with Johnny Depp rumoured to be planning a move to the UK I think us Brits are winning. Either you send us some more dross soon or we may have to part with .....er....who do you want?

Support? What the heck does she need support for? Helping her transition to a new manicurist?

not that molly, You all can feel free to keep Madge, Monica and Gwyneth, btw. I think having Sienna and Jude here, at least part time, are ample punishment.

Woo Can't wait for them to move here acutally. It will be interesting to see who they will "feud" with first. Lohan maybe? "Victoria promised to teach me how to dress for the paratazzii. Be adequite!" I can see it now.

Or better yet. When Paris tries to hump Becks! In nightvision. Just imagine that delicious mess.

I love how we're supposed to believe that Victoria is that eloquent or can type that well! Well done to the member of staff that does her blog, and well done to her 'ideas' person as well!

Victoria has shown a limited ability to stay out of the limelight when she's not wanted... but I'd LOVE to see some talentless, moral-less slut like Paris Hilton have a go at David! He's not been faithful, and he is stupid, but I doubt he's THAT stupid... but it'll make some interesting tabloid reading!
