The Good Guys

I don???t really want to be famous, and I???m kind of scared that might be happening … I might really have to stop and think before I make decisions now, and see how they???re going to affect my life, and see if it???s what I want to be doing with my life. I guess I need to make sure that it???s worth all that comes with it.

Hey George Michael, we like the characters you play in the movies, but you seem about as interesting as paint drying in real life. Never fear, you'll be forgotten in 2 years after people get tired of seeing you play the same role a million times. Especially when you grow out of the anxiety ridden teenage years. Can you imagine George Michael playing an anxiety ridden adult? Yawn.

No. 6 rumour has it says:

Michael Cera could follow Andrew McCarthy's career path. I think he has the niche market on anxiety ridden male adult roles.

Also, I've heard that Cera is a bit of a prima donna on set. Isn't he the reason why there won't be an Arrested Development movie?

He seems to have his head screwed on (for now). Not like I expected him to be flashing his vagina at the paparazzi or anything but it's nice to know that he giving the pitfalls of notoriety their due diligence.

@Killhorn - I sincerely apologize for upsetting you in anyway. I was just on a gossip site making fun of a pretentious teen actor that doesn't need to worry about "if he wants to be famous or not" because he's a movie away from extinction anyway. I guess your right, at least he's not flopping his weenie out at the paps, he's just being an annoying bloody bore.

I'll go eat an apple now.

I know this might be a little over your head (obviously) but A LOT of people who act in films, television, and on stage do it because they are ARTISTS and want to tell stories and entertain audiences, not because they want their 15 seconds of fame. If they wanted that, they'd shut up and do reality TV.

No he just keeps portraying them in film, only they are actually the SAME pretentious teen, George Michael Bluth. He needs to step up his game or his career will be shorter than the television life of "Arrested Development".

The whole "nerdy, intense, sensitive teen with the deadpan delivery" plays well now because of his age but how well will it play as he gets older? Unless he thinks his niche will be as a character actor. But even if that's the case he still needs to develop more as an actor.

He has been very lucky with "Juno" and Superbad" but if he does not show more range than his career will be as deadpan as his delivery.
