And Other Words You Never Wanted To Hear

It's happened: The Clay Aiken baby has graced the planet with his presence. Parker Foster Aiken was born August 8, 2008 at 8:08 a.m. Or, to simplify: 08/08/08 at 08:08. Surely this is a sign of the end of days.

To read all about what Papa Clay had to say about the birth, click through and take a peek at his blog entry. And, at right, behold the glory of Michael Sandecki, one of Clay's biggest fans and a glimpse into the future of baby Parker.

Welcome To Our World!

Hello All…

I know it's been a while. I'm sure you know, it's been a full full summer. Sorry we haven't spoken in so long. But, I'm sure you know… I hate putting the cart before the horse. Not my way to tempt fate. But I wanted to stop by, if only for a second, so you could be the first folks I tell…. HE'S HERE!

My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)

Parker was born at a hospital in North Carolina just this morning at 8:08 AM. Wow… 8:08 ..08/08/08

Weighed in at 6 lbs 2 oz and measured 19 inches

The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also.

The Aiken family, the Foster family, and the Parker family are all thrilled.

We'll share more at some point in the future. Love to you all!

C

Aw, he seems like a good guy, all the teasing and bullshit aside. He is educated to teach kids, he runs a foundation and advocates for inclusion for special needs children, doesn't shy away from those issues, takes trips to some pretty fucked up places for Unicef's programs for kids and education, and from what I've seen/read, he really isn't in the way shape or form in MJ territory. At least this child seems to have been wanted, planned for, and likely will be cared for and supported. More than some get.

Alrighty, then….do I have to hand my snark card?

By the way, Cord, how's the healing going?

Wow, Kate, that's a pretty damned low assumption based on someone's looks. Pity not all the world is a pretty one, eh? No wonder kids have issues.

Seriously, he might be a nerd, have voice not all can love, not be Mr. America in the buff factor, but to accuse without merit someone of something that heinous is pretty reprehensible.

Ah, well, I doubt he cares what any of us think, really, as we don't really know him.

Not a defender of the guy, per se, but the attitude when someone isn't the poster child for acceptable looks wise, etc., sucks.

Peace!

Oh Keeblerkan, the hurt has only just begun.

(Not really. I'm just joking. Kids are simply a JOY.)

(especially the teenagers)
