Look At That Face

Clay Aiken is quite possibly the happiest gay man on earth right now. It's painfully obvious that the singer feels like a huge weight has been lifted off his shoulders, and he breezes through his Good Morning America interview with Diane Sawyer with giggles and joy. It almost makes us understand the Claymates. Almost.

Oh bless his dear little heart. I agree with what he's saying, but eesh the voice and face are so distracting. Why does he look like a middle aged, recently divorced woman who just got a jazzy new haircut to show the world she's back? Perhaps this is why Claymates exist. It's self-love in disguise. He's surprisingly eloquent too.

I had no reason to mistrust him. He said he was asexual, I assumed he was asexual. What.

for whatever reason I assume that Claymates are by and large fundamentalist Christians who participate in God Hates Fags rallies and then cool out with a little Bridge Over Troubled Water on the way home to puff paint "Clay Shakes My Ovaries" onto t-shirts. I am imagining that his announcement was like Claymate 9/11. Nevar forget (when he was straight and it was OK to be in love with him).

That picture looks like a picture of a young Jamie Lee Curtis.

Clay shakes my tits - but only because I'm laughing hysterically at the fact that people truly thought he was straight.

Loved his attitude & I think he's kind of cute. So shoot me. I checked out some of his fansites last night as a curious observer & was pleasantly surprised. Most of the posts were pretty positive. The Fundies were there, but they got shot down by the majority for the most part.

Thanks Clay for coming out! You will definitely make a difference for young people growing up today. I only wish I had such role models when I was growing up. Lindsay and Clay I think will have huge careers, I definitely support my extended gay family! Cheers to both of you and congratulations Clay on your SON.

I'm really impressed with him and agree that he exudes a new, relaxed and confident energy. Best of luck to him… and fuck the Claymates.
