Poor Copies

Above is a still from the Smashing Pumpkins‘ absolutely enthralling video for “Tonight, Tonight,” below is a still from Paula Abdul’s “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.” “Tonight, Tonight” is on top for a reason.
After the jump, “believe” in music videos again, if only for four and a half minutes.

I hardly thought it was possible for me to hate someone more than I hate say the Herpes Hilton or the Olsons, but Paula proved me wrong YET again.
DIE YOU WRETCHED BLASPHEMER.
If I was high, I could so enjoy that video more. ( sad face )
That crazy BITCH!
I love Jill Talley and Tom Kenny, but I hate Billy Corgan so very, very much.
jill talley and tom kenny for the win. this video is one of my very favorites. anyone know the painting it’s based off of?
The Paula Abdul one? Uh, George Washington Crossing the Delaware? Watson and the Shark? Maybe with a dash of Spongebob.
Oh, I read that again cowards - you mean the SP vid, durvs! Here you go.
So when are ya gunna nab the Smashing Pumpkins for stealing the concept from the absolutely enthralling silent film A Trip To The Moon? Not a big silent film nerd but when I saw that in my sr. year film class in high school I was put on my ass by how amazing it was for it’s time. And it’s obvious impression on the Smashing Pumpkins of course.
I can’t stand Paula Abdul. She’s extremely irritating and rude in American Idol. Someone should kick her in the ass already.
Around here we prefer all hits and kicks go directly to the face. It’s just a time saver.
Ah yes, “Tonight, Tonight”…one of the greatest songs and vids of all time. “Ava Adore” was an awesome SP video too. I love Billy Corgan.
I’d watch Paula’s video, but as I’m not allowed to throw things at my work computer, I’ll save myself the grief.
