Broken Careers

Three years after freaking everybody out by going on The Oprah Winfrey Show, jumping all over the furniture and trying to break Oprah's wrists before a live audience, Tom Cruise will return to the scene of the crime to promote the 25th anniversary of his breakthrough film, Risky Business. In a special two-part episode of the talk show airing in May, Oprah will interview the Scientology Grand Wizard once from his home in Colorado and once in her Chicago studio before opening the floor to celebrity guests, who will then honor Cruise's career and mourn the Tom they once knew.

He looks like a vampire that's about to strike in that photo.
I can't watch it - it makes me too uncomfortable. The worst things is, is that I'm not sure what it is that makes me so uneasy. I mean, it's not like I am the one who is mentally unravelling before America, yet I feel like I need to run and hide when I watch it.
Oh my. I've never actually seen that clip before. It's much more disturbing that I could have ever imagined… that just may haunt my dreams tonight…
blah, you're remembering the Tom Cruise of old, the awesome and hot Tom Cruise that used to exist before he went batshit crazy. Kind of like Mel Gibson. And it sucks to see a person lose their damn mind, especially if you were a huge fan that person (like me) and still cry at the end of Jerry Maguire (me again).
Holy crap, I've never seen that before. Do not touch the Oprah. Do not shake the Oprah.
Oh, he did it. She's bringing him back on just so she can show him exactly what happens when you touch the Oprah. After the show Gayle and Andre (yes, I know her make up persons name) are going to hold him down and Oprah will eat his soul. Jokes on her since he already gave it to L. Ron Hubbard.
I would be so bummed if I finally got tix to see oprah and it was this crap.
She'll cover him in thetans til he begs for mercy. Then Andre will tell him to NEVER shake the Oprah.
A two-parter? C'mon, that's ridiculous.
His mother should have really taught him some manners.
Most children know better than to jump on the couch, especially someone else's couch.
I am terrified of Tom Cruise! Save Katie!
You never see THAT Katie anymore…the smile is long gone… replaced with a blank stare and occassional strained fake smile… so sad
