Selling Out

Why is Matthew McConaughey, a man with a well-publicized aversion to deodorant, doing cologne commercials? And how much did it cost to have him completely abandon his belief?

This is not his first foray into cologne; he hawked Stetson (yes, "smell like you just rode off the range" Stetson) a few years back.

It is his aversion to deoderant the makes the cologne necessary.

I can understand the aversion to anti-perspirant (although I would never do it), but c'mon! At least wear some hippy-dippy deodorant for crying out loud. No one wants to smell what the Matt is cooking.

I just hope D&G let him keep that suit. They'll never get the smell out of it.

That's what we call a 'french shower' over here in Spain: no soap required, just sprinkle cologne on top. Feel free to hit back with your own offensive sayings, frenchies.

I completely understand not wearing deodorant for some people. TSome reallyd o have naturally sweet pheromones. When my boyfriends doesn't wear deodorant or cologne, I swoon. Not everyone can pull it off, but I bet Matty there is one of them. He is a sexy beast… especially in A Time to Kill. Mmmmmmm.
