In Memoriam
This year, the Screen Actors Guild honored Daniel Day-Lewis with the award for best actor for his powerful turn in the unusual There Will Be Blood. Day-Lewis then honored his colleague Heath Ledger, dedicating his victory to the recently deceased young man. His speech was very kind and intense, if not a little meandering.

I saw There Will Be Blood yesterday, it was one of the most powerful performances I've seen by an actor in a very long time. That he honored Heath Ledger in such a well-timed fashion, is very impressive.
Daniel Day is not only an awesome actor, he is also very very hot. What is this, phenominal-actors-who-also-happen-to-be-sex-on-a-cracker day here on MG? Not that I am complaining.
DANIEL, I LOVE YOU!!!!!1111111+++hi
HOTTTTT and amazing.
Very humbling from his part.
RIP Heath Ledger
I saw There Will Be Blood last night and - as always with Daniel Day-Lewis - I was blown away by his performance. This award was well-deserved.
The fact that he honored Heath in such a fashion is really commendable and touching. It's clear that he really mourns the loss of his talent, and wasn't just making a statement out of obligation or something.
RIP Heath.
I would rather hear his political opinions. Seriously.
Number of people at my high school still talking about Heath Ledger blah blah blah: (stopped counting at) 14
Number of people to mention Suharto died at my high school: 0
Number of people to kill themselves at my high school: 0 (but not for long!!!)
