Counterintuitive Things
Very raggy rag Star magazine has done some digging and discovered that Leighton Meester, funny surname owner and Gossip Girl beeotch, was born in a halfway home while her mother was incarcerated for drug charges. Not sure why Star felt it necessary to bring this information to light, but now that it has, how much more respect do you have for this Leighton Meester lady, who maybe you once considered a throwaway, or didn't consider at all? We still can't produce a nugget of care for Gossip Girl, but good for her.

I think it's safest to assume *everyone* has faced enormous obstacles, and then be surprised when someone hasn't.
Oh poor leighton…you think that because her mom was in jail she was poor?
I knew Leighton when she was 13-14 and her mom must have put her drug money in a Swiss bank, because leighton had everything and anything she wanted!
She wasn't a poor street drug dealer…she was a savy business woman who got caught while making some BIG money.
Her mother had her at the age of 51???? Or am I just reading it wrong? Well whatever the case may be, I'm glad she lived above it and made something of herself. Leighton, nothing to be ashamed of. No one can ever say you didn't work for what you have.
