If it were just his skin tone that was different, I'd say you're probably onto something but looking at the background, the coloring of his tie, etc all appear darker.

I sincerely hope that it is simply the result of the natural shifts in pigment when you make a copy of a copy of a copy. If it was an intentional photoshop job, shame on them.

Sugar Magnolia is right. It's an astute observation that everything is darker in the second image. (ctrl + M in Photoshop and drag the curve south …) could just be the repro though, too hard to say unless you know the medium and even monitor settings …

As someone who has worked with various digital video editing tools, I have to see that this is pretty weak. Colors get distorted depending on what device and settings you use to upload the video; colors get distorted depending on what program you use to edit the video; colors get distorted depending on the device used to watch the video.

That's the reason why the same television show has a hue and saturation quite different between my home television and my school television (despite the same settings!).

If they want to get revenge they can simply accentuate her cankles in their next ads.

In the store where I work as a manager, I greeting a few people shopping in the young mens' area. Among theme was a black guy in his twenties looking at jeans, and a middle-aged white woman looking at tees. She was holding them up one at a time, checking out the designs and slogans. She found one that says "No Sleep Til Brooklyn, with an intense graphic background with the Brooklyn Bridge, stars, and a funky dude in the center wearing huge shades and a 'fro.

She looks the shirt over very carefully, walks up the the guy with the jeans, and asks "Excuse me, but do you know the man on this shirt? Who is he?"

I was speechless. So was the other guy. We made eye contact and I could tell that both of us were on the edge of losing it. He told her he didn't know the man on the shirt. She thanked him, and left the area. We laughed so hard I nearly crapped my pants…

I work with video too and if you pull a direct capture it shouldn't get distorted THAT much besides there are about, oh, 90 tools where you could get it to look like and exact reproduction.

If I were an older white woman I would have asked him too, not because he was black but because he was near by and younger, thus he might know more about pop culture than myself.
