The love story of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson is truly one for the ages, as evidenced by Pete’s interview on an LA radio station yesterday. Here’s how this fairytale romance began:
I was in the ‘friend zone’ with her for a good solid year. I spent a long time in the ‘friend zone.’ I’d be calling her and following her around like a puppy dog.

Ashlee clarified, proudly saying that she lifted her dress over her head — but it’s OK, because they were “friends with benefits.” Which is probably something you shouldn’t admit when you’re trying to keep up the wholesome Simpson family image. What would the virginal Jessica say?

B.) after the big deal Papa Joe/Jessica made about him being a minister and making her promise to save it until marriage how come NO ONE ever asks Ashlee that question?? Did they just not bother with her because they knew she was a lost cause or was the Jessica/virginal thing just a marketing ploy?
I was always under the impression that they’d coupled up cuz she stalked him for so long and he got sick of running. I like that she wasn’t pressed and he had to chase her. I hope her older sister is taking notes.
