One can't force the biggest movie star in the world to change his shoes, but: Where did he find that much mud in New York City? Is that imported French mud? If so, may we check it for truffles?

don't get me wrong, i love some uncle johnny and all, but sometimes i think he tries too hard to be different.
we get it, you hate the lifestyles of the rich and famous. now just shut your trap, take off the muddy boots, and continue being the sexy beast that you are.
I don't think he's sexy either … I think it's just the two of us Cerebratious. All my friends think he's God's gift to this world. He wears more jewelry than any woman I know.

I don't think it's mud on his shoes. He wears them all the time, and I am constantly looking at pictures of him, so I'm pretty confidant saying that the light patches on his shoes are where the hard leather has rubbed off and just left the untreated leather. Yes, I'm a little obsessive about him.
I agree with Beth. They look pretty normally beat up rather than dirty to me.

I don't mind the shoes as much as I do the suit. The jacket looks too big and makes him look cartoonish. I much prefer him
dressed down the way he usually shows up to events….the old look that "Justin-Bobby" so desperately tries to emulate.
Here is why I love this man. Yes I am aware that no one is commenting on this post any more.
One time, he was on an interview type show, and he had a little bracelet on his arm, either made of beads or macaroni, (I forget which), When he was asked about his bracelet, he proudly showed it to the interviewer, the cameras and the audience.
He explained that his daughter made it for him and he had never taken it off since she put it on him.
I have always loved Johnny Depp. But this made me love him with all my heart. :-)
