what's more is that she was "reportedly" told by several other doctors that she would probably die if she proceeded to have this surgery. she elected to go to a different doctor and not share all of her medical past.
i guess that's what happens.
I'm just having a hard time feeling exceptionally sorry for someone that doesn't bother and/or care enough to do research about someone who is going to cut into them. Checking that the school they went to wasn't somewhere obscure, and being board certified by every board they are available for would be the first things I would check…I'm just saying.
At the same time, it's important to me that the breasts I pay thousands of dollars for are the same size and the nipples point the appropriate direction…I suppose that might not be a priority for everyone.
It wasn't a priority for Tara Reid and her dough belly. It seemed like she was pretty determined to have the surgery and maybe this was the only doctor who said yes. It's just sad she had to lose her life over it.
Let's face it. We've become a society that wants what we wants and will got after it and get it regardless of how many people tell us it's not for us to have.
She shopped doctors until she found someone who would say "Yes" when another said "NO" and this is what happens.
I'm from Boston and we had the same thing happen years ago with a Celtics basketball player. He fainted a few times and a "Dream Team" of doctors told him there was something wrong with his heart. But, his wife-unit didn't like that answer, so she shopped doctors until she found someone who told him he could play and guess what happened? Yep, he dropped dead in practice. The the wife had the audacity to try to sue that same doctor she had hand picked AND went after the Celtics also.
this is just getting better and better. :(
I predict a very touching song by Kanye coming soon.

I think it's the sense of entitlement everyone in Hollywood feels. Either way, it's stupid.
A lot of older doctors aren't board-certified, because board certification wasn't a big deal when they first became doctors.
It might be a bigger deal in surgery though?
that is so sad omg i feel so srry for Kanya rite now!
I know. God bless their hearts. Truely. It's hard to be without your mom. I don't care how old you get. God bless everyone in that position.
