The promised Runway to Change line from the Barack Obama campaign arrived a while ago, and high-priced ($60-$70) T-shirt designs from big names have been steadily popping up on the campaign Web site for weeks.

Runway to change. It is getting a little ridonkulous.

It should read "Join the socialist Party!!" He has no clue with the hell is going on. What is his change? Nothing.. oh wait go read it on his web site.. right because god forbid he had a debate to actually tell us. I never thought I would consider sitting an election out until this one.

It's so funny how "cool" it's become to like Obama. Let's see how cool everyone thinks he is when we are getting raped by even MORE taxes. As our economy is in the shitter, the LAST thing we need is more government in the way… Fuck Obama. McCain may be the devil, but at least I can keep my money.

Chloe, Im guessing you're one of the 5% in this country that makes over 250,000 dollars a year??

No. 25 Lisa (#1) says:

Chloe: what tax bracket are you in? Because if you are in the top 10%, screw you, I hope you pay more taxes. I have no sympathy for you or your ilk. By the way, whose policies put our economy in the shitter and created massive debt (partially through a bullshit war)? Debt which, by the way, would only increase under McCain's plan all the while making the massive tax breaks for the rich permanent. Yeah, the rich who are using those breaks to speculate in the stock market which is, what? Oh yeah, in the shitter. Frankly, I would rather pay an extra few hundred buck to get this country out of debt.

But yeah, your points are super informed. Here is some reading for you.

nah, chloe is just one of those people that takes what the GOP says as gospel instead of thinking for herself or doing some research.

chloe, it's always BEEN cool to like Obama. Us cool kids aren't like the ones you knew in HS, tho…we actually WELCOME new people to the group.

I agree with you…the last thing we need is more gov't. which is exactly what bush and co. has done for the past 8 years. our gov't is now the biggest it's ever been, in the history of our country, and McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time. How do you figure he's going to "change" things?

But, Say What?, McCain is a mustang and he was in P.O.D. He has a cougar as a running mate and she's eats squirrel chunks.

No. 28 stopthemadness says:

as between a choice between a "cool" candidate and "the devil" you're going with "the devil"?

and you are out of your MIND, that you are going to keep your money under mccain unless you are, as alic and lisa point out, hella rich.

obama is going to close corporate tax loopholes and increase taxes on the top 10%.

you know when mccain talks about making the bush tax cuts permanent, that those tax cuts are for the richest of the rich? is that you?

and you know that alan greenspan just said this week that THIS COUNTRY CANNOT AFFORD MCCAIN'S TAX POLICIES, right? are you an economist? tax expert? have you read anything at all about the economy? or corporate tax policy? or the differences between mccain and obama's approach?

who has been in charge over the last 8 years that the economy has gone into the shitter?

my hair is a bird. your argument is invalid.

AHAHAHAHA someone referenced POD. Oh MY GOD I am going to die laughing. They are "the" tough-ass Christian band who got really popular as a tough-ass regular band… but as you know, all big label tough-ass musicians are still just label musicians, which really cuts into their tough-assing schedule.

@ STM - was it you who called McCain old on that other post? I think it would be funny if we started to call him the Grand Old Person.

@ WORDPRESS - You are such a hypocritical bitch. You don't let me post all day, then I hit Submit on all my generic opinionation, and you get in my face? I am not posting too quickly! Don't tell me slow down! You are the one keeping me from saying things in a timely manner! I hate you bitch!

I think Chloe makes a somewhat valid point, although I would rather step in front of a train then vote for John McCain. I make practically minimum wage for anyone who is curious, I work about 25 hours a week at Pier One. My husband is a supervisor for UPS and he makes about $1400 a month. Living out here in Southern California is extremely hard for us, especially with the added expense of pre-school for our daughter. I am worried about the Economy and the future of my family, I am going to vote for the candidate who has the best ideas how to fix it. The next FDR. I am not going to vote for John McCain though, Sarah Palin is an idiot.
