Baddie vs Saddie

We thought Paris Hilton and 50 Cent were friends, possibly the kind that hump. But last night at a pre-Super Bowl party hosted by Hilton in Scottsdale, the rapper certainly didn't seem like her pal.
Page Six reports that after Fiddy gave Hilton a shout out during his performance, the heiress left her front-row seat to get onstage and dance. At this, Fiddy shouted, "Get the fuck off the stage!" Hilton scurried off, where witnesses say she then proclaimed, "But it's my party!" and burst into tears. Hilton will turn 27 later this month.

hahaha! this is great, it made my day. put that slut in her place 50.
It's her party, and she'll cry if she wants to.
I'm only pissed that Fiddy lacked the good sense to physically boot her ass off the stage. He probably didn't want to risk foot herpes.
Yeah… why ruin a perfectly good pair of boots, you know?
I feel my sentiments are best expressed in a quote from Nelson Muntz: "HA ha!"
yey! but she's so like that machine in the terminator and will just keep on coming back and stronger.urgh-so frustrating… :(
THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU HIRE HAS BEENS RAPPERS . RAP IS DEAD THANK GOD IT'S ABOUT TIME
GRRR
Poor little fucking rich girl
AHHHH HA HA HA HA HA HA. LMAO!!! That's so awesome. I think I just dug up some new found respect for ole Fiddy.
I can actually hear her saying that "But it's MY party…" all whiner baby. Shut the hell up Paris! How does this girl even still HAVE friends?!?
Cord,
You would cry to
If it happened to you.
Da da da da da!
=)
Dammit, to=too!
chelsea: I'm not sure why you think rap is dead. When Kanye West and 50 Cent released their albums last year it was the first time in more than a decade that two albums have sold more than 600,000 copies in a week in the US. That doesn't particularly sound like the death of a genre/sub-genre to me.
I think I am going to make "get the fuck of the stage!" my new mantra…awesome!
Sold 600,000 copies in a week in the US means nothing.. Do you know what was the profit of that large amount with a huge population and satifying the recording costs plus payoff to greedy singers before release? NADA..
I don't think Rap is dead, but it sure is struggling to regain its unique-style from "back in the day", I think pop ruined rap, pop ruins everything!
it's dead
She'll always have a first call shot a playing Alice the Goon in a live remake of Popeye the Sailor.. Or perhaps one of his nephews.. Pipeye, Pupeye, Poopeye, and Peepeye.

I hope its dead.
You know, like my cat.
I disagree Chelsea, in that I play A tribe called quest everyday! :) If the idiots today can't bring originality to their game, I will forever play the rap from the early '90s!
I don't even really like rap, but have you guys heard of Jurassic 5? Odds are, if you like A Tribe Called Quest, you will really like them. They are a-w-e-s-o-m-e.
I LOVE Jurassic 5 Janice!
Yay! Me too. :)
I haven't heard a bunch of them, only a few select songs that people have seen fit to throw my way. That said, I think after thinking about it right now, I need some Jurassic 5 cds in my life.
Yeah baby yeah! I agree! Might as well stock up on the good ish, while Soulja Boy is STILL BEING PLAYED ON THE RADIOS!
J5 and Tribe are not considered relevant "rap". Thats because they're more talented than sick beats and club jams. J5 and Tribe are probably the most relevant "rap" groups ever.
Haha, that's why I can't turn on the radio anymore. It distresses me. Damn, I need a cd shopping spree. Can't wait!
Totally agree mom!
That's exactly what I want to say to her everytime I see her spazzing (dancing) around the stage flapping her ass goiters around. Sit the fark down so other humans don't get sick.
gibby: That had nothing to do with the point. The point was that each album sold 600,000+ records in a week. This DOES mean something. It means 600,000+ people bought each album, kind of suggests that large numbers of people are still buying music of this genre, therefore it isn't dead.
Also, Boo hoo…poor recording industry.
Lily: yeah
Rap's like rock-can be generic and is loved by the mainstream and the underground BUT don't think it can ever go away….
Props to J5 and TCQ; if you guys are into 'concious' hip hop-you into rawkus? Danger mouse and his proteges?
Yes, I am boo hoo. Also Common, just saw him live in Honolulu, and Talib
I like some cheesy hip hop and rap, but I prefer the more classic stuff and intelligent, jazz influenced, "conscious," hip hop. I especially like A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Jungle Brothers, Jurassic 5, and I have a nostalgia soft spot for Arrested Development and De La Sol. Yeah, now that I start thinking about it there's probably too many to mention.
OMG Lily! I can't believe I forgot about my Roots, I LOVE THE ROOTS! Also really enjoy de la sol too!
boo hoo: mentioning Rawkus opens another flood gate, so I'll just say, any of the later members of the Native Tongues Posse collective. Not to exclude the founding members, but I think I've mentioned most of them already, and I enjoy a lot of stuff Danger Mouse does. Gnarls Barkley always makes me laugh.
lily, please get out of my head. i have limited space in there.
i was going to comment about how i only like intelligent hip hop. you done stoled my thunder.
tribe, j5, the roots, common, de la soul, krs one– that's the good stuff. ooh and digable planets. and the pharcyde.
shout out to mr. wendall.
fiddy is… well i don't know what he is. but no, i do not want you to take me to the candyshop, thanks for asking.
And, isn't his monotone droll (sp?) the worse???
Yeah!! LOVE that stuff!! They play in the UK loads cause we are into that a bit more-well, there is a real cult for 'concious' hip hop and so I've seen a few of those guys you've mentioned Lily-my DREAM has been to come to NY and 'get the real thing' :(
There's a really good canadian hip hop artist-argh, I'll get the link and post if you check back-but you guys will LOVE him!! He's really new but lays the most expressive and economic lyrics over some sparsely laid funky beats..
will find now!
Lupe Fiasco is good, love Common and Kweli. 50 Cent is garbage.
I enjoy OutKast as well, anyone like Damn, Damn Damn??? I enjoy the smooth beat and saxophones the most!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE common and talib!!
and pharcyde…god this convo brings me back to college…gooood times!~
MyOpCountsToo-yeah, yeah!!
outkast! common! mos def! talib kweli!
"I LOVE BLACK PEEOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPLE!!"
LOL Madness!
Mos Def, I have such a crush.
yeh! Madness!!?
MOCT you like/know MF Doom?
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha…………..
Anytime Paris cries I laugh. I had that shot of her in the police car as my computer wallpaper for weeks.
I'm not really into current music. I just stocked my iPod up on older stuff- MARRS, Technotronic, Crystal Waters…. I'm cheesy, but at least that music was a bit original.
Mos Def- I think he's actually a pretty good actor too.
Boohoo- I saw MF Doom at Coachella a few years ago. He was pretty good esp. considering the sound system for that particular stage was assy.
I saw Black Star that same year… they had to literally cut the sound to Mos Def's mike because the Coachella stages are required to shut down at midnight, and the crowd was going nuts, so Mos Def was just like, fuck it, we're going to keep going. He jumped off the stage and started wandering in the crowd. I almost fainted. Then they cut the sound and I thought people were going to riot. I think I may have broken a bottle over someone's head.
I never heard of MF Doom, will do some research…
And, to bring this conversation full-cirlce, RAP IS NOT DEAD! :)
StopTheMad
Noo?! Was he good?? I LOVE him!
rap is never dead…pop helps to ruin it AND so does SELL outs and people WHITE AND BLACK that buy into it..open your heart and mind and you'll find the true music that also lives..in hip hop too!!
that Fiddy is on to something
Yeah fossyboots, it's called don't let no one steal your spotlight. Tell them to get off the stage if they try. :-)
Tired of your dinosaurs complaining that rap is dead. Just like how rock&roll "died", that's how rap is dying. And from the ashes with arise new sub genres in rap. You have your grunge, alternative, heavy metal, soft rock, classic rock, garage rock, southern rock, punk rock and all this other mutations (or mutilations if you hate anything you are unfamiliar with) of one genre. That is what is happening to rap. So if you don't want to crank dat soulja boy, then don't. Play your krs-one and big daddy kane. Or play your J5 and Common. But don't sit in front of your computer and post your invalid two cents, because I don't have any change for you.
Oh, hip-hop 101. I felt the same way when they tried to say that disco was dead. Nothing really dies, it just changes up into new forms. :-)
p.s., I am not tenchnically a dinosaur, I'm more like an old dragon.
