Terrible, All of Them

gossipgirl9

Tuesday night, when asked if they'd like to share any Hollywood gossip they've become privy to since joining the cast of Gossip Girl, one young actor noted: "I'd like to punch Zac Efron in the face." Interesting, because that's the exact same way I feel about the cast of Gossip Girl.

After the jump, more from the premiere of The OC East.

He wants to punch Zac becuase he wanted to be the prettiest boy at the party.

I saw the last half of this lamefest. Why try you 90210/Cruel Intentions/Less than Zero, wannabe?

My roomate kept trying to convince me that because the book was good, the show could be decent but the plot was so predictable I stopped letting it take up the commercial time during top chef. Also, the girl in this picture/the main girl in the show is pretty in that 45 year old house wife kinda way. How old is she in real life, anyone??

There are so many reasons to want to punch Zac, where would one even start? There's; orange complextion, too perfect eyebrows, skinny jeans, perfectly coiffed "messy hair", too much foundation, I could go on.

Mom, she does look like she should be on, The Real Houswives of Orange County. They do that thing where they put on so much eyeliner to make her eyes look larger, and it just makes them look older.

I watched the first three minutes of the show and promptly changed the channel. I would have needed a Schirpa guide, a compass, and google maps to figure out the plot.

Ok Gossip Girl is a good show, if you didn't read the books or you don't like teen drama then you are not going to appreciate it. But if you watch the Hills, Newport Harbor, or if you ever watched Dawsons Creek or the OC then it's all of those shows combined. Hate it if you want but the pilot was great.

The generation that watched Dawson's has outgrown that kind of show. So Gossip Girl wouldn't appeal to us… it appeals to our 17 year old neice, who watched the last 2 seasons of OC and sincerely admires Gilmore Girls. And we were that way once… I just mean, every generation has their own 90210 equivalent.

I am the Dawson's Creek Generation and honestly I haven't grown out of this type of show. I was like 12 watching that show, and as a 22 year old I can say I still love teen drama. Some, people just dont outgrow these things.
