One of the quickest ways to tell that someone's not really smart is if you see them drinking a "smart" Vitamin Water. Yeah, the labels are "quirky" and "fun," but that's to distract people from the fact that there's just as much sugar in those things as sodas. "Smart" is to have a glass of water and a multivitamin, gullible is to have a bottle of trumped-up Kool-Aid.
Another quick way to tell someone's not really smart is if you see a tattoo of dice on their wrist and know they're not heavily into backgammon.

Actually smart is to eat healthy and not take a multivitamin at all, since most of what's in a multivitamin is eliminated in your urine anyway.
Kitchy does it count if BritBrit takes a vitamin and then drinks urine? ;-)
*lol*
I wouldn't be surprised to hear she was doing that, either.
Kitchy, don't count out multivitamins completely, because they at least somewhat make up for what's lacking in our food. Our vegetables have significantly less nutrition than they did 100 years ago.
When I was researching Colony Collapse Disorder (I'd like to raise my own bees), I came across an article discussing a man named Rudolph Steiner who predicted the current problem (http://www.celsias.com/blog/2007/04/13/colony-collapse-disorder-a-moment-for-reflection/), and I found out that he also lectured on agriculture, spiritualism, education, you name it.
We ended up buying a few books comprised of his lectures, and the introduction to one was written in 1950. At that time, nutrition had dropped 30% or 40% since the early 1900s. I compare this with something I read a couple years ago about how plant nutrition has almost halved since the 70s, and I start getting extremely anxious for my own land.
Yes, but what's in them still doesn't actually go into our bodies and replace what's missing. For the most part.
I don't discount vitamins completely, I was being snide. The advise of "drink water and take a multivitamin" I assumed was snide and I answered as such.
I think Cord was inserting a bit of seriousness into an otherwise snide piece. It doesn't matter…I know you were being snide. I just think people should know vitamins aren't completely useless.
What a mug on this girl, must she always look like she is mentally retarded??? And, is it possible for her to eat/drink something without spilling it all over her clothers???
Screw you guys, I do whatever 50 Cent says. I don't drink Vitamin Water because it's healthy; I drink Vitamin Water because it's delicious!
Except for the crappy taurine-riddled Dragonfruit flavor…and guess what kind Little Miss Scumshine is holding? I knew there was a better reason I don't drink that kind.
actually i like the taurine-riddled dragonfruit flavor. and yes it contains sugar (the biggest criticism) but it has much less so than your average can of soda. i'd rather drink vitamin water than soda. maybe this makes me stupid but i have a Ph.D. that says i'm not.
on the topic of Shitney — has anyone else noticed that immediately following a fuck-up, she makes a point of either posting some crap on her blog, or displaying herself smiling bravely as if all is perfect in her world. it's incredible how stupid some and manipulable some of these stars think people are.
then again i do buy and drink tons of vitamin water. maybe i should give back that Ph.D. ;)
