She Should Really Stick To Acting

For all two of you waiting around for Hayden Panettiere's debut single, here it is. The song is titled "Wake Up Call" and it sounds like something that should be played at a 7th grade dance. Vocally, she sounds better than Ali Lohan and Heidi Montag, so … that's something?

Faux caribbean crapola. Great. Didn't Paris Hilton already do this with that Stars Are Blind bullshit? Why would anyone want to copy that?

She sounds awful and processed. I really hope no one buys that shit. It'll only encourage more people to make awful music.

Argh. Must go listen to Steely Dan … need antidote to ear poison.

Am I the only one who thinks this is the same song as that Paris Hilton song that came out a while ago?

I agree with the Paris thing. Why do actors think we want to hear them sing? She sounds like she is trying to imitate Gwen Stefani.

The best part of the song was when they said "on air with Ryan Seacrest".

If we learned nothing else from Ashlee Simpson, didn't we learn that 1. Changing your nose doesn't change the fact that you're an idiot, and 2. You don't start a song with "Whoah, whoah."

It is said that she is now posting her song on http://www.IfIhadneverhadthose.....rapnow.com.

Start with "woah-a, woah-a, woah," however, and you have a karaoke classic.

I blame this all on Star Search. This program years ago was the front runner to American Idol.

Before that was the Gong Show.

I just want to take these people by the hand and tell them, "just because it sounds good to you in your shower, please don't try to assault us all with it. In the shower, there is water in your ears. You don't really hear what WE ALL are hearing."

It also may sound good to you in your car. This is because the engine noises are confusing you.

Someone needs to tell these people the hard, cold truth. It is for the greater good.

Cooter, the best part of that performance was watching the dance routine.

First, though, someone should tell her that she's not a good actress, and that those short-shorts she insists on wearing only make her look more squatty. Then we can move on to the music issue.
