Surprised?

I was very honored to be called a feminist hero. It’s a big deal to be even acknowledged, let alone complimented by the New York Times by such a profound, famous TV critic.
Who are my feminist heroes? Um… I’ll get back to you on that one!

God, this chick makes me want to throw things.
Annoyance defined.
*banging my head on my desk*
make her stop!
ok, first… whiiiiiiiiiiiitneeeeeeeey!!!!!!!!
*shakes fist*
second, i have been confusing the hills with one tree hill. i didn't even know the hills was a reality show. i have always been confused while heidi and spencer in real life are also heidi and spencer on tv.
but it's "reality" tv. it's all coming together.
i still want to stab myself in the eye.
i blame white people.
(don't get upset… i fully blame my people for flava of love. )
which one is the basketball show?
oh who gives a shit really.
i'm going to go watch beverly hills 90210 on dvd.
confused why*
the idea that this show exists is making my brain melt.
that's ok STM, i blame my people for bad irish drinking songs.
You mean like the unicorn song? I kind of enjoy that one.
Clearly you haven't heard it sung over and over again, in a small bar, where the only word most people know is "unicorn"… That'll kill that love.
she is so totally my feminist hero, where would the future of young women be today be it not for Heidi. And LiLo. And Paris. Christ, I am getting old. I want to kill everyone. Ramble, ramble.
janice, I have to admit that I haven't heard the version where every word is unicorn. But I can understand how that would get old real quick.
saddy-pants: just kill all those you've listed, add the Kardashians and I'll build a shrine to you in my basement.
Hate to say it, but NYT has a point!
Heidi may be a fame-whore but she is ambitios, she stood up for herself in her relationship with a (former womanising) jerk and ended up making him chase her all the way back to Colorado begging her to marry him on her terms ! WELL DONE.
LC and Audrina can learn a thing or two from her. Their personal relationship with men are total disasters and they constantly degrade themselves by chasing after unavailable men ..who make total asses out of them on national TV.
Roarie, the NYT was making a joke. And you're forgetting that this is a scripted show. She didn't really do any of those things (not that any of them are particularly feminist) any more than Captain Kirk got it on with green alien hotties.
