Why is it OK to show all of a breast but the nipple and areola are off limits?

I love me some Klum. Especially after she laughed at Nina Garcia's nickname of Meana Garzill. It was a big fat "HA."
That being said, that black chiffon deal isn't my favorite picture. She looks like a lesser, blond Sela Ward.
I love me some Heidi, I think she's breathtaking. She makes me giggle at least once every episode of P.R and I loved when she spoke about Britney giving her parenting tips on Ellen, but I bet she is a total diva. But not as much as Naomi.
